Ive been told, Watch your back! 10 times, Stacey Tzortzatos, owner of Panini & Co. Breads, located across from Zuccotti Park, told The Post yesterday.
She and her employees are terrified by the constant threats, which she said began after she demanded the protesters stop using her shops restroom as a place to bathe every day.
The final straw came about two weeks ago, when the demonstrators broke a bathroom sink, flooding the shop, and clogged the toilet -- setting her back $3,000 in damages.
She put up a sign that said the bathroom was out of order, but they tore it down shortly afterward, she said.
I have the police in here 10 times a day, [and] Im the bouncer. Ive been called the spawn of the devil. Its unbelievable what goes on in here every day, Tzortzatos said.
And on Friday, she said, a crazed squatter burst into the shop and demanded that workers fill a 10-gallon container of water.
When they refused, he banged it on the ground and started yelling and threatened the staff, she said.
He said he was entitled to have it for free.

It's their job. And even if it wasn't, they really don't have anything else better to do.
Why are these business owners putting up with this sh##? Stand your ground and let the chips fall where they may. They are being abused, harrassed and in any other incident the police would have them arrested and jailed.
Woooonder who they voted for?????
Barry’s chickens are home—but not roosting quietly.
The OWSers really hate the 99%. Because they’re such ripe pickings.
And you know they’re owed!
Free Water! Free Food! Free Restroom!
Communism at its finest!

How dare this greedy Capitalist pig claim the store as their own personal property! It belongs to the collective! /s

Community Board Asks "Occupy Wall Street" Protesters To Clean Up, Quiet Down
NY-1 News ^ | Oct 20, 2011 | Michael Herzenberg
This has been a nightmare, said Brian Summers, who lives near Zuccotti Park.
Summers said those trying to force corporations to become better corporate citizens should learn to be better citizens themselves.
It makes us feel horrible. We work down here, we live down here, said Summers.
Drums are played each and every day. The noise registers as 117 on a decibel meter.
According to the federal government, regular exposure to 110 decibels can lead to permanent hearing loss.
From blocks away, it might not be physically harmful, but neighbors say it's damaging lives.
We support the message, and a lot of residents do, but they also want to have a good night sleep, said Manhattan City Councilmember Margaret Chin.
Local officials have been swamped with neighborhood complaints.
That's why they invited protesters to hear them firsthand at a Community Board 1 meeting Thursday.
Besides the noise problem, residents say protesters are pouring urine in the streets.
Our neighbors do not urinate and defecate in the street. These occupiers need to vacate our neighborhood, said one resident.

“It belongs to the Revolution, beyotch!”
There ain’t no such thing as private property for greedy capitalist pigs.
It would be a shame if some of those employees who feel threatened took defensive action. Really a shame. Yeah.
January, 1971: Jane Fonda raises funds for the Winter Soldier Investigation through a series of benefit concerts. Participants include Fonda, Dick Gregory, Donald Sutherland, Graham Nash, David Crosby and Phil Ochs. Fonda is named Honorary National Coordinator of the event.
February 16, 1971: Jane Fonda and Donald Sutherland form "FTA" (F*** The Army), an anti-war, anti-American road show that tours near Army bases in order to undermine troop morale. Skits and songs portray American defeats, soldiers refusing to fight, and the murder of officers by their troops. FTA cast members mingle with soldiers after the shows, encouraging them to desert or to sabotage the Army.
I hope these poor folks arm themselves. I’d guess at least a 1/3 of these fleabaggers are hard drug users, and you never know when they may turn violent.
same retreads.
The local businesses should file a lawsuit against Bloomberg and the City of New York.
Right On, Comrade!! :)
Bump
In NYC? Bloomberg would be down on them faster then an SR 71.
While reading this I was thinking of my dad, long ago gone, and what would have happened were it his place of business. I suspect there would not be enough ink to print the violations on his arrest report. Unfortunately is it coming down to that...when lawlessness rules, the public IMO has a right to form Citizens Committees to protect themselves and their property.
You never want to miss a good protest when you're a protest singer. It'll be just like Woodstock, only smaller. Lots of drugged out hippies. Power to the (lazy, freeloading) people.
"By the time we got to Wall Street, we were half a thousand strong..."
Where's Doug from Upland, the guy that used to do the song parodies?
