Not to worry, Sarkozy loving freepers have ASSURED us that Sarko is "conservative" by "European standards" and that he's sooooo much better than Chirac (even though he's from the same party as Chirac, agrees with Chirac on every issue, and was endorsed by Chirac to suceed him)

If the pro-abortion, pro-socialized health care, pro-statism, pro-EU, pro-UN, pro-gay, anti-gun, man made global warming alamarist, anti-Iraq war surrender monkey, arab-loving, multi-married horndog, Netanyahu-hating Sarkozy is what passes for "conservative" in France, I'd hate to see their idea of "liberal"

I could care less if they elected Sarko and he wants to pretend to be our buddy now. F--- France.

I have a comparison.

Sark is to Chirac as Mark Kirk is to his House predecessor John Porter.

Though no one would mistake him for a conservative everyone thought Kirk was certainly to the right of the liberal Porter, but it turns out that is not the case.

The conservative press was dead wrong about Sark.

Obama would be right at home in the “center right” UMP.

The PDLRF (Président de la République française) election is like a race between Bill Clinton (Sark) Cynthia McKinney (the Socialist) and Lyndon LaRouche (Lady LePen).
