A former USAID worker claims Herman Cain asked her to set up dinner with a woman who attended a speech he gave in 2002, the Washington Examiner is reporting tonight.
The worker - 40-year-old Donna Donella, of Arlington - told the paper that the moment came after Cain gave a paid speech in Egypt that year. A woman in the crowd posed a query to Cain during the speech, the Examiner said. Continue Reading
Donella told them And after the seminar was over, Cain came over to me and a colleague and said, Could you put me in touch with that lovely young lady who asked the question, so I can give her a more thorough answer over dinner?
She was "suspicious of Cain's motives and delined to set up the date," the Examiner reporter wrote.
That prompted Cain to reply, "Then you and I can have dinner." Instead, some of Donella's co-workers suggested a group outing.

Big deal. I've made more than 5 females pised off at me in a single night, and sex wasn't even involved. ; )

She has several bankruptcies and paternal fights over a son she had with a married CEO (and she has lost jobs faster than Kardashian marriages).

Another thing that doesnt smell right is she said that her boyfriend booked the hotel room for her but when she got there, Cain had upgraded her room. Due to the privacy act, hotels dont give out names of guests. You cant call a hotel and ask if xx is staying there- not to mention some third party jacking with your reservation. Hotels wouldnt do that.

She just had a summary judgement against her from a collections lawsuit. In September, her assets were order to be seized.

Agreed. Either this stuff is true and shows a disturbing pattern, or its all exaggerated nonsense, but either way, the MSM can keep on dribbling this stuff out for a year. Cain is damaged good I'm afraid, and ultimately, it doesn't matter what Conservatives think, its what those 20% of the mushy middle will believe, and you can be SURE that they will be heavily affected by these stories.
Polls could be a delayed reaction. People are taking a “wait and see” approach. They are only allegations. But now that there is a face and more and more women keep coming forward, and we are stuck talking about this instead of the issues...it’s going to plague his campaign and will become a factor.
Do you think that is a coincidence during this **** storm?
The Dem smear machine is in full gear.
But his poll numbers and contributions keep rising.
The Allred case is a JOKE. It is already unraveling and it is only day 1

Which is exactly why there is now number 5. I actually laughed out loud when I saw this thread.
All Clinton was convicted of was perjury.
The knobber didn’t do him in.
Except that was an alternate universe, in this universe all were re-elected.
Two of God's children having dinner together doesn't even appear "evil"....except to one has an evil mind to begin with.
If Cain is done, which I do not believe to be the case, it is time to start figuring out who to run third party. There’s no one left running on either ticket to support.
Great Big LOL!!!!!!
Cain is done. Romney can’t win. At the end of the day it will be a Perry/Newt or Perry/Rubio ticket. That’s fine with me.
Laura Wood writes:
With her tousled hair slipping over her eyes, the long dangling earrings and heavy make-up, Ms. Bialek makes it all too easy to imagine how years before, after heading out for drinks and dinner alone with a man who had just told her he had upgraded her hotel room to a suite, she might have seriously aroused him. She was a grown woman who went out on a date, not a business meeting, who seems to have been willing to overlook the obvious signs that it was a date in her eagerness to get a job. She was not hurt in any way and there is no evidence that he engaged in retribution.

“Cain is (sadly) done, as the hype media will not let this go. Adultery/harassment is something that just doesnt go away, even if you are innocent (which I believe he is).”
But, that’s the point, my friend. If one is a conservative (no matter who your candidate), one has to support Cain here. If not, we’ll never have a credible black presence in the conservative movement— because the Dems will do this each and every time, and in doing so, continue to divide the nation with their self-serving race mantra.
Years ago, Gen Powell was thinking of running ‘s wife said she didn’t want him to run for president because she feared for his safety. Media interpreted that fear as reflecting white racism. I don’t think so-— this is what she feared.
I like Cain, I’d rather Newt- but, imo, we can’t let them win this battle and allow them to claim control over the black and women’s vote in perpetuity. He has to fight this smear as Justice Thomas did, and he deserves conservative support.
I just don’t give a crap anymore, I just assume all politicians are philanderers, so in the end, it’s a wash.
I meant that as a joke, since the best humor has truth at the base. Perry’s problems stem, at least in part, from Perry trying to defend Perry.
If people can be destroyed by the liberal media, how good of candidates were they? Allen? Didn’t he do that to himself in reality, by his handling of the affair? I know the libs are vile, and the media is unrelenting, but the the general election will make all of this seem like kindergarten. I see Palin and Cain in a similar light- both were not ready for prime time, IMO, even if they had good conservative credentials. That’s excluding these women who Cain may or may not have harrassed or assaulted (the Allred woman).
Oh, so now he’s a cold cad.
There is no low to which these rats won’t stoop in their allegations, is there?
