Rocky was just on AMC and I caught the scene where he greeted them both in the ring before the final bout.
RIP Champ.

How sad — what a permanent legacy he left for the “sweet science.”
One time George Foreman was describing what it was like to fight Frazier. Foreman said (paraphrasing) “you hit him with your BEST shot — straight in the face. Frazier shook his head — THEN GRINNED.” Foreman said that grin is the scariest thing he ever saw in his life!

God speed Joe Frazier, you are a man many look up to and admire. May God’s Grace fill your soul with love and peace and may you enjoy the fruits of heaven for eternity.

5’11” and he beat lots of the best big men of that era including Cassius Clay in his prime.
He was a great champ and a man’s man.

Wonder what Mohammed Ali is saying? Ali can hardly speak at all these days, but I'm sure he's greatly saddened by this news.
RIP Smokin' Joe.
