The Herman Cain scandal finally has a name and a face.
Superlawyer Gloria Allred introduced her client, Sharon Bialek, at a press conference in New York on Monday afternoon, telling reporters that the woman formerly employed by the National Restaurant Association's educational arm had been subject to an unwanted sexual advance from the Republican presidential candidate.
Bialek, a Chicagoan, had raised money for the restaurant association before being terminated in 1997, Allred said. When she lost her job, Bialek reached out to Cain for help.
"Mr. Cain instead decided to try to provide her with his idea of a stimulus package," Allred said.
Bialek detailed Cain's sexual overture, explaining that he spent money on a palatial hotel suite for her at the time of their meeting. When they saw each other in the evening, Bialek said he put his hand on her leg, "reached for [her] genitals" and pushed her head toward his crotch.
When Bialek objected, Cain asked her: "You want a job, right?"
Bialek called on Cain to "come clean about what you did," saying: "Mr. Cain, I implore you, make this right."
Allred said her client is not filing a "lawsuit or claim" and has not been in touch with any of the other women who have accused Cain of personal misconduct.
Washington attorney Joel Bennett, who represents another Cain accuser, told POLITICO's Jonathan Martin that he had previously been in touch with a woman in Chicago who had been mistreated by Cain. But Bennett said he did not direct that woman to Allred, and "as of when I spoke to her [Sunday], she hadn't decided to go public."

I can understand the “circle the wagons”, but there seems to be as much conjecture here as at Politico.

Anyone who is actually even slightly conservative will be targeted and end up as "damaged goods" no matter who they are or how clean they may be. We have seen this over and over and what ends up happening is the nominee will be someone that is chosen FOR us. At some point I really hope we have someone that conservatives want badly enough we will stand and fight for that person and not allow the dims or even the GOP to run their person at us. It really is getting old. They damage the conservatives, we fall for it and end up with someone we didn't want- a RINO.

And then she tells us that the reason she is bringing it up NOW is because she is such a CONCERN TROLL. She tells us we need someone of integrity and leadership in the White House.

Didn't Cain run for Senator and none of this crap came up. And amazing isn't it how prior to the NRA Cain had no issues and post NRA Cain had no issues. But during his stint at the NRA he was THE CAD OF THE CENTURY.

As to his chances to end up facing nobama, I hope he is able to overcome these “women” issues, but it is not looking like he can just poopoo it as in away in his current defense.

FYI I started posting Cain articles ever since he hinted he might run for President in April 2010. My history on FR is well known. I highly doubt you read my 5000+ posts on this forum.

Just asking well needed questions regarding Cain to temper some of the stuff that isn’t actually helping Mr. Cain.
