First things to check —
1) Name of the Hotel.
2) Date and Time of alleged occurence of incident.
3) HOTEL LOGS ( if they keep it way back to 15 years ).
If all of the above coherently check out, then we just might have some plausible credibility but not until.
It's also funny how the NRA, a political lobbyist group, is the only place that is coming forward with these claims. What about the 40 plus years Cain spent in the private sector? If he was supposedly so active in harrassing for the 3 years he was working at the NRA there should be literally hundreds of women that should be coming forward from all the other places he's worked.

If that is her facebook page, notice all the FRIEND and SUBSCRIPTION connections to a lot of black people, most notably those in Africa... Lots of self described Liberals on her friends list.

If this is her, again, I dount she is a Tea Party Republican...
Or maybe it just proves the “victim” didn’t take it as an assault, but just as an unwanted pass. Or a provoked pass that she then rejected.
Anyway, she says her response to the alleged act was, “You know I have a boyfriend!”
As if otherwise, hey, cool.
Clearly, she was neither offended, nor traumatized, nor scandalized by this alleged incident.
Doesn’t mean I wouldn’t be extremely disappointed in Mr. Cain if he were engaging in this sort of conduct. But this woman’s own statement, and the fact that she never made a complaint to the NRA, does not support the “outrage” she says she feels now, over a decade later.
Better get a screen grab of that before it goes away.

I didn’t see where she filed a formal complaint ever or got any kind of “settlement.”

If her claims are true (which I HIGHLY doubt), what she describes is sexual harassment. This is the first paragraph of the definition of sexual harassment from the EEOC website (emphasis added):
"It is unlawful to harass a person ( an applicant or employee) because of that person’s sex. Harassment can include “sexual harassment” or unwelcome sexual advances, requests for sexual favors, and other verbal or physical harassment of a sexual nature."
If she was asking for a job she would be considered an applicant and if (mind, I say IF) Cain stated or implied her hiring was dependant on sexual favors, he would be guilty of harassment.
But a number of people have spoken about Cain's behavior over the years and this is totally out of character from the man they have described. Does that mean it is impossible? No. Less likely? Yes.
But, as Ann Coulter asked in her column last week, whatever happened to the "one free grope" rule? This was the constant excuse for Democrats - they tried something, but they stopped when asked. Have we suddenly had a rule change (retroactive to 14 years ago)?
One of the co-authors of the original Politico story was on a local radio show last Monday and whenever she was questioned about anything, her pat answer was that "I'll let the story speak for itself." Well, it has spoken for itself - and proved to be a poorly sourced, non-specific piece of garbage more intended to slander Cain with innuendo than to rightfully "inform the public". I put this story in the same garbage heap until I see some verifiable facts on the table.
She sure was smiling a lot when she read her statement. She knows it’s a lie and can’t believe anyone actually thinks there is some merit, or at least reporting it like there is some merit.
This will just result in another boost in the polls for Cain and fundraising.
If something did happen, I’m sorry to say that I would believe that she started it. I’ve worked in male-dominated fields my entire life, including in the liquor industry, even before these extreme PC days. I’ve never had a problem with anyone I worked with or for!!! And, like someone said, she wasn’t even working there anymore...
I also don’t know how she can remember such details (what he said, what she said) so many years later??? I’d say that I have a decent memory and don’t alter things, and I can’t remember conversations that far. I might remember a sentence or two, or the gist of things, but not to the extent she was painting it.

If she’s a Republican, I’d like to know for how long? This could have been planned for a while.

She really went out of her way to see him that night.
Of course, it’s never a good idea to go to dinner alone with someone in this type of situation.

Despite Allred’s stupid comment about calling the incident Cain’s “idea of a stimulus package,” the fact that someone is willing to go on record and give specifics on a charge will make this seem a lot more credible than last week’s vague reporting from Politico. Making that more difficult is the statement from Bialek and Allred that the purported victim is a Tea Party Republican, which might indicate less of a credibility issue than otherwise.”
