Well, she isn't retiring to the governor's mansion.
The Rove-Bush-Hutchison Machine didn't win their 2010 primary challenge against Rick Perry.
Now Texas GOP establishment campaign cash is going to Romney 9-1 Perry.
When Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison refused to campaign with GOP candidates challenging female Democratic Party Senate incumbents, there really was nothing left for anyone to say about her conservative principles.
To: All; shield
When Perry turned Republican, he left some helpful Democrats behind ...."Democrats had ruled the state Agriculture Department for a hundred years. Perry immediately ejected Hightower loyalists and Democratic operatives from the agency. He pledged to cut the departments staff by 20 percent and scale down the number of regional offices around the state."...

What's not to lie about KBH? You caved on every critical bit of legislation to the clintoons, and feigned a few conservative issues when it didn't matter so you could still fake the R after your name and lie to us Texans. I for one, am glad I don't have to hold my nose and vote for your ass anymore.
P.S. Good riddance, and I hope this is the last we hear from you.

I think the main reason she is retiring is she would probably draw a real conservative opponent and most likely lose. She has been a major disappointment and I for one won't miss her. I hope we can attract a true conservative to replace her...Jeb Hensarling comes to mind.

Im not going to backtrack on anything I said,
Well at least she is sticking to her principles and not flip flopping which conservatives hate. I don’t know much about her but I give her props with not back tracking.
To: Cincinatus' Wife
When KBH decided to run for governor, she originally said that she would RESIGN her Senate seat to devote all her energies to the race. She quickly backed off that promise. Her campaign was dead-in -the -water from that day on. She obviously couldn’t be trusted to keep any promises.

That’s right. The Rove RINO machine dumped millions of dollars in the pro-abortion KBH campaign and it backfired big-time.
Rove should have switched to the democratic party years ago.
There is absolutely nothing conservative about Rove and that’s why he’s pimping for Romney the liberal. He also joined with the liberals every chance he got to bash
Sarah Palin. Rove hates real conservatives.

She’s a loony toon. Her majesty thinks she was owed the Republican nomination for Texas Governor? Best I can say about her is she kept that Senate seat out of Democrat hands

Kay Bailey Hutchison is about as untrustworthy as Mitt Romney and Olympia Snowe. They ALL can go over to their little RINO nursing home in the big woods and STAY there!
