Republican 2012 presidential candidates Republican 2012 presidential candidates Herman Cain and Newt Gingrich met in a Lincoln-Douglas style debate on current economic and social issues facing the U.S.
No doubt about it, Cain & Gingrich are the best of the field!!! In fact, exceptional when compared to the other candidates!!! I watched all the candidates speak last evening, Mitt Romney was terrible, boring, rambling, no charisma at all, unfocused and not inspiring at all. Mitt has to go!!! He does not cut it!!! Not even close. Rick Perry just does not come across as sincere, period. Bachmann and Santorum just don’t have the depth, plus Santorum got spanked bad in his home state of Pennsylvania a few years back!!! Being objective, Cain & Gingrich are the cream of the crop, period!!!
I got a kick out of it. Maybe Obama can solve the Middle East with that on his brain.
I call it two intellegent people sitting down together and explaining to the people how things can be fixed. Those other debates are just to get the candidates to cutting each others throats. If that is how you pick a candidate go for it, but I don't pick that way.
Which is of course why I called Mitt a Border RINO.
Perry has a platform?
Start looking in Texas, my friend. If you have marketable skills of any kind, you’ll probably find something here.
My wife and I sold our house and moved out here from California in late 2005. It wasn’t easy leaving my home state, and my entire extended family. I also left a hard-won niche in the local business community that my wife and I broke our asses for ten long years to earn.
Starting over in a new state wasn’t easy, but let me tell you, it was worth every ounce of effort it took to make it happen.
I love the idea.
Cain’s business savvy plus Newt’s academic approach to all things Washington.
Perfecto. The only thing I would prefer, is if both of them were 15 years younger.
Newt quit the Speakership over a scandal because (I believe) he got arrogant. Just a few years ago, he appeared in an ad touting global warming with Pelosi. He has had three wives, leaving each of the first two for another woman.
I do not trust him fully. He is very bright and articulate, but self-absorbed. Would he let the Presidency get to his head as he did the Speakership?
Now Newt and Herman are mocking Cheney.
Way to go guys!
I thought you meant what you said. “This forum. “
I am not the only one. Be sure to tell JR he should “know damned well” what you meant (as opposed to what you said). That will go over so much better than a classy apology for choosing the wrong word.
I’m also a 66 years old male, you punk.
Watch Out! Global Warming Nuts are soon to descend on your MAC address.
I wouldn’t be surprised if Newt and Cain have some sort of “well, if I’m the nominee, you’ll be my VP and if you’re the nominee, I’ll be yours” deal going on.
Pretty sad comment.
A lot of people are jumpy.
Well good for you!
Then maybe PERRY should figure out how to give a decent debate performance so that if he does win the nomination, he will not look like an idiot while trying to debate Obama. That would severely hurt him in the general.
LOL...
