A pretty good shaker for Oklahoma! 15-20 seconds here in OKC. More sharp jolting of the house than previous mild quakes. Woke up the wife...freaked out!

Definitely felt here near Stillwater. 20-seconds of definite, but low intensity vibration of our bedroom windows. Both wife and I awoke and immediately recognized it as an earthquake.
We lived many years in So. California (released for “Good Behavior”). No shaking of anything other than our windows in this wood-framed brick-faced residence built on a slab. My brother across town was also awoken and felt his pier built home sway a bit.

In California they don’t count unless they’re at least a 5. ;~)
Hope nobody got hurt though.

Stop worrying and go back to sleep. I have seen wind storms in Oklahoma shake and rattle more than a 4.7.

Apparently not much here in Bartlesville. Slept right through and I’m a light sleeper. Heading north in a few hours. Will keep a look out.

A little tremor and we’re all freaking out in Oklahoma, yet a tornado rip by and ho hum. Whereas go to California and it would be the opposite.
All depends on where you live and what you get used to.

I live in Norman but must’ve slept through it. My own snoring shakes me sufficiently, I guess.

A bit off the topic, but all you good folks in OKC and all of OK better have your eyes to the sky come Monday/Tuesday. Chance of some very nasty weather. Moving up from Red River Valley and then east...

I felt this last night (sort of) in Ponca City near the kansas border.
More like i heard it vibrating my kitchen cabinets... it was so weird. Whole house seemed to vibrate for just a few seconds, but my overhead kitchen cabinets were rattling for like 20 secs.
I thought at first it might have been an explosion or something near Conoco.

There will be earthquakes in diverse places. Places where we do not “normally” see these things. Increases in these, weather, etc. Ladies and gentlemen, if you have not read the books of Daniel and Revelation, could I suggest you take a read. These are the end days. Over 2,000 years ago, these things were seen. Take heed. Our Creator is coming back. In the twinkling of an eye.

We live in Lincoln Co, about 20 miles from the epicenter. The house shook for several seconds, and a small cabinet fell over.
