CNN) - Joel Bennett, the attorney for one the women who has accused Herman Cain of sexual harassment, said Friday that his client "made a complaint in good faith about a series of inappropriate behaviors and unwanted advances" from the GOP presidential candidate.

Bennett said his client sees "no value" in revisiting the issue now, but "stands by the complaint that she made."

Bennett said his client would disagree with Cain's characterization of the alleged harassment incidents.

He confirmed that the alleged harassment occurred in 1999 over a period of "at least a month or two." There was "more than one incident," he said.

Anonymous accusations of unidentified non-criminal acts.

Wow. What a scandal.

He must be representing the one female that works in Maryland. The New Jersey female left in May 1998, according to the Politico article.

The story is dead.

All we’re waiting on is the coroner to issue the official death certificate.

Joel Bennett enjoys a good scheme with John Podesta

Whenever Team Romney had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonathan Martin has been their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

“And The Most Irresponsible Journalist Award Goes to The Politico’s Jonathan Martin!
So tell me, how do you write a “news” story about an organization paying for a speaker when you don’t even know if the organization is paying for the speaker?
Ask “journalist” Jonathan Martin. He knows all about it.
You see, Jonny wrote a piss poor story the other day about how the Iowa Family Policy Center will be paying a large speaker fee if Sarah Palin comes to Iowa to keynote the IFPC’s fall funderaiser.
The only problem is that Jonny has no sources confirming that any exorbitant fee is being charged or paid.
Jonny also got some inside info from David Kochel, who was a top aide to former (and future) presidential candidate, Mitt Romney.
Hey Dave, didn’t I just read a story about how Mitt Romney tried to buy off the Iowa Christian Alliance?
I heard you helped facilitate that little scheme. And somehow you are shocked at the thought of a well-known political figure (who very likely isn’t running for president) getting paid a speaker’s fee for (gasp) a public speaking appearance? ..
and then we’ve got Tim Albrecht quoted. He was the Iowa spokesman for Romney’s 2008 caucus campaign.”
And it always seemed like, whenever the Romney people had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates,
Jonny was their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience.

"Who's the Palin Leaker from the McCain Campaign?
National Review Online The publication of a Vanity Fair profile of Sarah Palin
appears to have opened old wounds in the McCain campaign.
... the source of the “Diva” leak was Nicolle Wallace’s husband."

Who benefits most from Sanford meltdown? Californian (that's right) Mitt Romney

Announcing his client is for sale to the highest bidder.

She is not coming out because what the NRA considered to be sexual harassment at the time would not even be considered sexual harassment today in light of the KKKlinton defense of what is and is not sexual harassment. They want to hang Cain with this this, but can’t figure out how to tie the noose in the rope!

Are you sure you’re replying to the right person? Nothing was said about standing by anyone, just about the girls silence means she might have wised up.

In a way the whole episode helps Cain because he built an aura that he can’t be taken down while others fold like a cheap lawn chair.

Those of us who work in corporate or government work places know how easy it is to get hit with a false accusation of racism or sexual harassment.

A buddy of mine just got fired after five years of hard work at a place for “sexual harassment.” He needed a pen to write a telephone note and asked the fat chick standing next to him, Can I borrow your pen?” She didn’t react, so he reached for the pen sticking out of her front shirt pocket and plucked it out with two fingers. She went to HR, claimed sexual harassment and he was summarily dismissed. He had no prior work rule infractions and was offered no appeal of this firing.

And thus, the phony “Cain Scandal” comes to a merciful end. Many doubted him, but he rode out the Organizing for America project with flying colors. Bravo Citizen Cain!

Aren’t discrimination and sexual harassment 2 different things... and would discrimination most likely mean she was passed over for a promotion and not treated fairly? So she then goes into the category of disgruntled employee, with a sexual harassment complaint to increase her veracity. Isn’t this sorta important? Maybe? no?
