Moore Lashes Out At CBS4 Over Wealth Questions Filmmaker Visits Occupy Denver Protesters November 3, 2011 6:29 PM
DENVER (CBS4) Filmmaker and activist Michael Moore joined a growing crowd at the Occupy Denver protest Thursday evening, but his encounter with CBS4 left him fuming when he was asked about whether he represented the 99 percent that the protesters stand for, or the 1 percent they claim to be rallying against.
He appeared in Denver for a book signing event and visited the demonstration at Civic Center Park just before 6 p.m.
Moore said a few words to the crowd and then was escorted by two security guards in an SUV to the Tattered Covers Colfax location for his Here Comes Trouble: Stories From My Life book signing at 6:30 p.m.
Moore talked briefly with CBS4 reporter Evrod Cassimy before he was escorted to his waiting SUV. Watch the entire exchange below.

What makes it even richer, is Moore made his $50 million (or whatever he is worth) by doing what the reporter was doing to him...bothering very wealthy people with uncomfortable questions.
The main difference is that this reporter was WAY more polite about it, and that ,in his response, Moore was far less polite than the subjects he stalked and their working class staff members (mostly security guards) who had to deal with his badgering.
Michael Moore got “Michael Moored” (in a far gentler way) and he doesn’t seem to enjoy it.
If all the “1%” were as obnoxious, hypocritical and rude as Michael Moore, I might join OWS. :-)
Yep, Michael, you a wealthy 1% fat cat. This dude will snap if we can keep this up...
This is what happens when all those Krispy Kreme’s go out of business!!! You tell em Mike!!!
One of the best South Park’s ever bashing the bums!!! HAHAHA
No, he IS 99% (of the weight of the nation, that is)
Maybe Evrod Cassimy should show up at Moore’s “1 percenter” cabin with a video camera and begin shooting his documentary “Michael and Me”, in which he follows Moore around the country trying to get him to disclose his net worth and asks him how he can live with himself while so many people need his $50 million.
He exploited a bunch of poor locals living in Flint to make his first movie and then skipped town with all the money. I met one of the stars of Roger and Me about a year after it came out. She was working at a Kmart snack bar. Moore certainly did not believe in sharing the wealth with her.
Moore is a master at turning the tables on the questioner.
Notice he does not confirm or deny.
Rather he accuses the reporter of spreading rumor and lies.
That is what the left does.
The truth?
What most people wonder when they look at the photo is just how the heck does he keep that boat afloat when he’s in it?
***Moore: Youre just punk media is all you are. You lie. You lie to people. Stop lying to people. Stop lying.****
One could almost visualize Paul Watson and the SEA SHEPHERD trying to get between Moore and the reporter. ;-D
As Moore was leaving the Occupy Denver protest to go to a book signing he was confronted by a correspondent at KCNC-TV, the local FOX affiliate.
The reporter asked if his rumored wealth made him part of the one percent the “Occupy” movement was protesting against.
“I do very well,” he replied, “Because I do well, I want taxes raised on people who do well, including mine.”
But when asked how he is helping the protesters with his $50 million, Moore said, “I don’t have $50 million,” before growing exasperated and telling the reporter, “You’re just punk media is all you are. You lie. You lie to people. Stop lying to people. Stop lying.”
When asked again, “Are you not part of the one percent?” he replied, “Just don’t lie, OK?”
A better question would be to ask him about the million dollar film subsidy he managed to leech off the people of Michigan just weeks after denouncing the subsidies.
Another "uppity black man" not following the script. No wonder Moore was arrogant toward him.
His responses sound straight out of south park.
I went to the site but the poll is down now. Too bad. On the hand, there was a photo gallery of Broncos cheerleaders on the page so it wasn’t a total waste of time.
