PITTSBURGH (KDKA) Chris Barnes, 11, is getting his latest round of vaccinations for measles and tetanus.
It doesnt really scare me as much as other people, its just a shot, he said.
Without regular immunizations, Chris would be turned away at his pediatricians office.
Dr. Wayne Yankus refuses to see patients unless they follow the government recommended immunization schedule.

Exactly, this is why we spread them out for our 2 month old. I don’t mean over a year but over a series of weeks. Let the immune system deal with the vaccinations, get back up to full speed and then move on with the next round.
As far as I'm concerned the Dr. can run his practice as he pleases. But, how is an unvaccinated child a risk to one who is vaccinated? If the vaccine works, the vaccinated child is immune to the disease. Exposure so a measles carrying child should pose zero risk to the vaccinated child, ...if the vaccine works.
so = to
Fr. Wayne Yankus?
Are they kidding??
I object to mandatory immunization programs, but support the right of any doctor to treat or not treat a patient based on issues of conscience. There are other doctors who feel differently on the matter and patients should see one of them if so inclined.
Sorry, but I have accessed information you will never have access to: criminal investigation responses of healthcare professionals following the death of their infant vaccination patients. I asked the questions, they gave the answers. You’re wrong. It’s a Faustian deal. They admitted it and confirmed a direct correlation of vaccinations to SIDs.
“”You apparently are not old enough (under 50) to remember the polio clinics with iron lungs or the measels epidemics that killed and maimed thousands or the mumps epidemics or the whoopi cough outbreaks. Made up stories about what is in vaccines do not help. Lack of knowledge that is your dilemma””
Find one person on FR who is OVER 50 by about 25 years and then ask who hasn’t had measles, mumps, chickenpox, whooping cough etc.
I think you may know a little something about “making up stories.” Educate yourself - plenty of information out there for anyone who will put the kool-aid down for a minute.
Okay, but why do that if there’s absolutely nothing wrong with vaccines? You’re not following the government recommended schedule. It’s okay for you to follow a schedule that *you* choose for your child, but not for someone else?
I’m just playing devil’s advocate here. You have your reasons for spacing things out, I’m not sure those reasons are any more valid than someone else who chooses to space out over months instead of weeks.
The point is, whether you space out over weeks or months or years, you’re not following government protocol and in this doctor’s eyes should be “fired”.
“”I dont have a problem with all vaccines, but the ever increasing number of them is troublesome””
The number of doses of vaccines in the childhood vaccination schedule has TRIPLED over the past 30 years - from 23 doses of 7 different vaccines in 1980 to 69 doses of 16 different vaccines in 2010.
Does anyone here believe this won’t just keep increasing - using all children as guinea pigs? Most vaccines are tested by the vaccine manufacturers and our fabulous government signs off on them. There is too much information and research done by independent entities to believe there is anything great about the pushing of these PHARMACEUTICAL products! Always FOLLOW THE MONEY!
I filed a complaint and demanded a different doctor after a new one started questioning the kids if we had guns in the house, how dangerous they were and then started slipping in things about our mental states. I let it go on just to see where she was headed and enjoyed every minute of it. The kids were handling her well enough on their own by giving her weird looks and barely answering. Imagine her pursed lips when the one got fed up and told her dad carried a gun at work. She was gone from the clinic a few months later.
Good for you! This hasn’t happened to us, but I would quickly change doctors or practices.
I used an obstetrics group in one pregnancy where one of the doctors was quite rude about my having (at that time) my 7th child. Although I only saw him a couple of times, and the other doctors and staff were perfectly pleasant, I did not go back to that practice for subsequent pregnancies.
That's the basic conclusion I have come to. But when I counted up all the shots my son had while getting all his vaccinations it came to something like 23 or 24. Considering that there will probably be additional vaccinations in the future, there has to be a better way. It's pretty traumatic for young children to get 4 or 5 shots at once, and perhaps physically stressful also to deal with all that.

“”Vaccines are the REASON why the probability of contracting those diseases are so low!””
Improved living conditions, drinking water and sanitation had nothing to do with it? Why do children in the cesspools of third world countries have so many of the childhood diseases? Maybe because of not so great living conditions?
Infant mortality has risen in the US - in 1960 America ranked 12th in infant mortality among all nations of the world. By 2005, the US ranked 30th. Just check the recommended schedule for childhood vaccines and the truth lies right there. There are documented cases where a child has received as many as 9 different vaccines in one visit to the pediatrician.
Until pharmaceutical companies do their research on vaccinated vs unvaccinated children, the true picture of vaccines will never be known. This needs to be done for each individual vaccine and also for multiple vaccine combinations.
Why do you suppose more than one vaccine is given at any one time? They surely can’t put the blame for ill effects on any one vaccine then, can they? Nope - they have their butts covered. “There’s NO PROOF the vaccine(s) caused the damage” is their standard reply. Bad effects must show up in the first 4 days - if one day later, it was caused by something else.
There are organizations that are labeled ANTI-vaccine. That label couldn’t be further from the truth. They are merely trying to educate people - do your homework, folks.
Who needs research when you have literal outcomes to study?

Did you read post #20?
It could help clear up any confusion you have. Or not.
And today we live longer and healthier lives than at any other time in our history. Go figure. I'm sure big bad pharma has nothing to do with that. Damn them for making money and using those profits to create these drugs! Damn them to hell!
Yeah, vaccinations are also responsible for autism. I read it on the internet so it must be true.
