Guess I’ll be shopping elsewhere from now on.
Some of the responses:
>>I’m sorry that George Zimmer feels guilt at the wealth he has (rightfully) earned. But there is an easy solution for that. He can give his money away. All of it. Right now.
As for me, I do NOT feel guilty at what I have rightfully earned, and resent George Zimmer accusing me and others like me of some sort of moral failure, and am aghast that Zimmer aligns himself with people who are no better than unwashed barbarians, destroying property, and demanding that my money be taken from me by force.
I have been a regular Men’s Wearhouse customer in the past, but I assure you I will never again set foot inside the store of someone like George Zimmer, who aligns his company very publicly with hooligans of the likes of the “Occupy Oakland” thugs.
Mens Wearhouse is all about “Looking good.” The OWS protesters are still working on “Smell good”. Looking good is itself is a form of obligatory to these people, they don’t want to buy your suits, they want to do away with the need for them! Get a grip you fools.
Seems that you chose the wrong pony to ride, MW. Don’t you understand your customer base at all? Those mentally ill stoners aren’t the ones spending money in your store....now no one will. Justice. — 53%er.
Used car salesmen who want to look “conservative”. You can do better at JC Penny.
Stupid move on MW’s part. They will lose business over thi stunt. I guarantee it!
I was going to look to buy a couple pair of pants this weekends and now I have one less place to look.
Get ready to close some more, for more than one day to show solidarity with wealth being spent somewhere else.
I have only shopped in MW a few times as not close by. I will never shot in MW again.
oops, solidarity FAIL: their windows still got busted!

Heres my favorite part, from later in the article, At the Mens Wearhouse, which had closed Wednesday and put up signs in support of the general strike, windows were shattered. Obama wanted a class war and thats what hes got. Greg Pollowitz

Thanks for the post. Just dropped my email subscription to their ads, reminding them that I don’t do business with Communists.
I'd never consider shopping there.
They have lost my business forever.
Please post your messages of dissent on the Men’s Wearhouse Facebook page. They need to get the message loud and clear.
There is a Mens Wearhouse adjacent to Zuccotti Park. Let’s see if they will follow suit (no pun intended) and do the same thing. They obviously sell to the Wall Street crowd given their location.
OHHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhthat’s a shame
it was one of the few places i could buy clothes big enough for me (tall, not fat- thank you)
does anyone know a good CONSERVATIVE store where I can find 3XLT shirts and 36/38length pants?
I have an honest question...sorry if I already missed the answer. Are the stores all owned by Zimmer, or are they franchises? I’d hate for one local store owner or manager (maybe even without Zimmer’s knowledge) to shut down because he’s a libtard, and then ALL the other stores get boycotted when they in fact don’t share the same viewpoint.
I’ve never even heard of them before. This was not a good way to introduce me to their brand.
