Adding to the ongoing Herman Cain sexual harassment controversy, two sources have now confirmed to PJ Media that a female employee of the National Restaurant Association told associates she had been brought by Mr. Cain to his Crystal City, Virginia residence where she alleged he had taken advantage of me.
One source, a male, told PJ Media:
Herman took advantage of seniority and power with a young woman. It was an abuse of power.
Implying that coming forward with the accusations was an ordeal for the young woman, the source also said:
Who do you believe, a CEO or a mid-level staffer? It was unsettling for her to make charges.
The name of the woman who was in her early twenties at the time of the alleged incident has been confirmed by PJ Media. We have chosen not to reveal her identity for reasons of discretion.
Both sources, one male and one female, worked at the time mid-1990s for the governmental affairs department of the National Restaurant Association, as did the woman.

She didn't say that. She just said she just woke up in a bed that belonged to him.
That being said, if he did cheat on his wife....I would be very disappointed. He just doesn't seem like that kind of person.
Yeah...when they are wearing stuff to show it off. Or have writing across their chest in BIG letters...or their backside.

And here I thought our justice system was based on a person having the right to confront his/her accuser?
Silly me - when I was on our local school board - some nutty teacher wanted us to believe that our school superintendent “acted inappropriately” toward another unnamed teacher, but wanted to keep her identity a secret from him.
We said that if this unidentified person was unwilling to come forward in executive session and discuss this with us and the superintendent, she wasn’t going to be taken seriously.
She dropped the matter instantly. Can you imagine the lawsuit we would have endured if we fired the superintendent on such hearsay?
Er, Miss. Clarification, please: Were Mr. and Mrs. Cain in the bed at the time?
Wow. That was a perfect response. Isn’t that exactly what’s going on here?
Only Mayella Ewell actually sat on the stand herself rather than third- and fourth-story accounts making the accusations, and her story didn’t shift every 5 minutes to an accusation of something worse.
What ever happened to last nights story that Cain’s campaign stated that a report would be coming out that would vindicate him?
Then how come Newt is still in the running?
I am the same way. I would take a parking ticket to the Supreme Court if I thought it was untrue.
But the corporate world is different. I don’t think Cain even had a say in it.
How about applying a "reasonable man" standard before lynching someone over your moral standards? Or is proving his guilt not nearly as important as being seen as "morally upright"?
Is this the “Ivy League” babe?
Did Herman keep a secret “love nest” in DC?
Did the young babe see Herman’s “pepperoni”
SNL will have fun...
If Clarence Thomas looked like Denzel Washinton, Miss Anita Hill was have giggled “Oh Denzel go on with your bad self”. In Cains case it is a little different, IF there was physical contact and IF he was guilty of infidelity, that is a different story. Clarence Thomas may or may not have said inappropriate things just like Herman Cain may or may not have had sex with female employees. If he did, it’s bye bye Herman.
We can't accept that outcome.
If it is not true, it cannot be allowed to become the SOP, or a Republican will never be elected to high office again.

I remember the ‘92 election when Clinton was one of many democrat contenders. There was a political cartoon showing them all on a river to doom (GHWB was considered an easy second termer at the time), each one riding an inner tube carrying them to certain doom of a waterfall onto rocks.
This one showed Clinton as the first to take the plunge. On his inner tube was the name of what “did him in”: “Gennifer Flowers”.
‘Cept it didn’t.
It’s half the reason Newt can’t rise about 10% in any polls.
(The other half is his big government, technocratic bipartisanship.)
That said, it’s looking more and more like Newt’s the best candidate we have unless Palin jumps in.
I don’t even get this story. Is she saying she got drunk and went home with the boss? She came back to work a few days later, all upset? Did he lock her in a room for a few days? How did he take advantage of her? Did he force her to get drunk at a business affair? Did he have a gun and forced her into the cab? Does she know what happens when a cute 20-something gets into the boss’s bed?
How is it harassment to sleep with your boss?
Now, do I like that If If If the story is true, it means Cain cheated on his wife? No.
But here is our choice:
Mitt Romney (probably didn’t cheat) or Herman Cain (might have cheated)
Then in the general Herman Cain (might have cheated) or Obama (might have cheated with a man).
I am still supporting Cain. Hoping he will just spill his guts about his marital indiscretions or else just say this is between me and my wife. I’d like him to vow not to be busy cheating in The white house. I want him to be honest though.
Gennifer Flowers was before the democratic nomination for the 1992 election. It had no impact on Clinton and was far worse than the worst we have heard here so far.
IF it turns out that Cain got drunk and had a one-nighter twenty years ago, it would be disappointing.
HOWEVER, it does not preclude him from being the man with the nerve to turn back the clock on the government.
Perfect is the enemy of good.
I guarantee every person running will have personal things you or I might not like.
We must choose based on political position, not embarrassing personal indiscretions, even if they are true.
As I said, if true I am less enthusiastic about him, but Cain is still the pick of the litter.
You did see the if's, didn't you? If and if, I am still witholding final judgement, but I can tell you, no matter what I even think, in the end, its all about how other will judge him, he could be sunk at this point. Waiting to see how he responds.
This is current and typical liberal media un-sourced, unverified accusations standards.
When I was at net, a reporter would have been fired for suggesting such a story!
