You are required to give health care, you are required to give education. And Texans made a decision -- are we going to kick these people to the side of the road and they are going to become tax wasters? Or are we going to require that they become citizens of the United States and become taxpayers? We chose the latter.
There you have it boys and girls, out of his own mouth.
Perry is absolutely for Amnesty.
Of course being the liar he is, he won't come out and say it directly, just beat around the bush.

What a monumentally stupid thing to say.

My guess is that he would stack a military presence down there.

(Obama, The Biggest Thief In American History)
So he’s against the following:
1. Physical Border Fence
2. E-Verify
3. AZ1070 and any similiar laws
So how’s he going to secure the border again?
By using the same FAILED tactics used for the couple of decades?

Oh great, then we’ll have ‘comprehensive immigration reform’ within 13 months of his inauguration!

Rick Perry, the Establishment, anti-Tea party candidate when it comes to Illegal Immigration.

It could be done in a month in America. But in Amerika? Just look at Ground Zero. Still feeding the unions after ten years.

He knows he really screwed up when he made that “you don’t have a heart comment” and is trying to fix it.
I wrote his campaign the night it happened and said “you lost me on immigration”. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one.

He could do it faster than that; just use executive order to overturn Posse Comitatus (why not, 0 is ruling by executive order now).
Bring home the troops from South Korea and Europe and re-deploy on the US border.
Before the flamage starts, this is a tongue-in-cheek suggestion. My primary point is how dangerously accustomed we’ve become to executive orders from the president overturning the law of the land.
It seems are positioned as Rome just before the imperial era.
Dysfunctional, corrupt republic? Check.
Bread (45 million on food stamps) and Circuses (NFL, MLB, TV)? Check.
Loss of Civic virtue and moral character in the people? Check.
Powerful nation at its zenith but crumbling foundational principles? Check.
I fear it’s a-coming. In particular, it seems that much of the population would go along because they prefer their material possessions and easy life over principles of liberty and government by consent.
I see increasing use of executive orders to continue to grow the power of the president until he (not just 0 but any president) is indistinguishable from Imperator.
I pray I’m wrong.

Perry is shallow, dillusional, and I think he has a drinking problem.
Did you see him last nite on Hannity?
I don’t object to his positions (except immigration) but he’s got the brain of a turnip.

Perhaps Perry could do it in a year. I have serious doubts that he would, however.
