Was the recent attack on Herman Cains presidential campaign a professional hit job? Absolutely, says Herman Cain. And he says he knows just where to look for the guy who did it: At 815 Slaters Lane in Alexandria, Virginia, a low-slung former warehouse in the shadow of a coal plant.

You Perrybots had better hope your boy isn't behind this or it's going to be an all out take no prisoners war here on FR and everywhere else.

If this guy was behind the smear job, what a scumbag.
So let's say the smear works and Rick Perry gets elected then what?
We all know Perry wants to legalize the illegals, he is against building out the fence, his vaunted "job creation" predominantly benefited illegals, and his big money backers in Texas are businesses that profit from competing by using illegal labor.
So ten years later, when thanks to President Rick Perry 20-30 million or more illegals-turned-voters walk into America's voting booths and put Democrats in permanent power for generations, what does this guy do?
No problemo, he just goes on to work as a political consultant for whichever of our political parties devolves into the equivalent of the PAN party (the crony capitalist statists) or even the PRI (the socialist statists).
Like Judas, he got his 30 pieces of silver.
I’m waiting for a deposit to clear the bank, Herman will get a check from me tomorrow.
You’re totally out of your mind.
I agree with your post#70 completely.
I strongly hope that Cain is right about this (because Perry has attained Howdy Doody status with me and I believe it’s time for him to drop out).
But if Cain can’t back this up... Triple Wow.
Let’s look at all these Perry ties:
Curt Anderson joining the team last week
Chris Wilson (and the supposed “witness” to all of this)
Shawna Bolick’s tweet on the 27th
Chris Wallace’s admission last Sunday that they were going to resucitate Perry’s campaign
Karl Rove saying Cain is finished
Joseph Allbraugh (of the Karl Rove Iron Triangle) joining Perry’s team on October 24th
________
On the Romney side we have the head of the NRA donating $1000 to the Cain campaign.
Who pointed at that person being the source? Joel Bennett, the accuser’s attorney, and friend of Clinton’s Podesta.
IMHO, if it is proven that Perry’s people did this... he’s done. Yes.. the Perry supporters will twist it and say they were simply informing the people about some “sexual harassment concerns”. However, many folks are sick of dirty politics and cut throat behavior. This story may show more light on Perry’s character than what was wanted (i.e. showing Cain in a bad light)
If Perry is a mensch he will investigate and kick the skunk out of his campaign.
It would not make much sense from Romney’s point of view to cast aspersions at Herman Cain, at least not this early. Cain has actually said he’d be happier as a veep to Romney than to Perry. Though with Cain surging forward powerfully like this, it might end up the other way around, with Cain tapping Romney (for a cabinet post if not for Veep), and Romney sure wouldn’t want to spoil his chances. Perry on the other hand must be green with envy.
*** Sorry, that should read, head of the NRA donating $1000 to the ROMNEY campaign.

I doubt Perry is behind this, but this link might give a clue of a possible connection from the Dems or Romney.
Steven C Anderson (was President of the National Restaurant Association following Cain)

“Although Anderson says the NRA has close ties with Republican leadership in the House and Senate; the organization has strived to knock out more of a bipartisan in age and forge closer relationships with the more moderate Democrats.”
I just wish I had more to give, but I give what the good Lord allows me to.
Perry is a non-factor. Hes polling lower than Newt in almost every survey Ive seen. There's a reason for that. And it's not "the rock" and it's not the "illegal tuition" BS and it's not the gardasil.
Look at the video. The NH speech.
He's Howdy Doody.
You can't change that.
You can't go to school for that.
You can't get a new campaign manager to fix that.
You can't issue a new position paper to cover that up.
It's Howdy Doody time, it's Howdy Doody time, it's Howdy Doody time... it's Perry Dropout Time.
Perrys liberal upbringing is showing
Damn right! Anybody that voted for Bill Clinton is NOT to be trusted.
What kind of hard evidence can you have in a ‘she-said, he-said’?
From what I have heard, Cain was asked to comment 7 to 10 days before the story ran. So the tweet had nothing to do with a smoking gun, if it exists, still a big IF.
My gut tells me this is from the Romney camp courtesy of Karl Rove. We, the voters, are supposed to get our panties in a wad over allegations, whispers, and out of court settlements when we have a sitting President who is a Socialist and destroying our economy as well as the country in general. Keep in mind Obama got in the State Senate via a similiar scenario so this herring could be out of the Demoncratic Party machine. Remember Jack Ryan?
Good point. You can tell that things are beginning to come together. The biggest frauds always show their hands when they are backed into a corner, and Perry is cornered big time.
It is now up to Perry to come out and either deny it, fire the guy, or fess up and go with it. Anything less and he will be seen as the fraud many have been claiming him to be.
