Oklahoma political consultant Chris Wilson says if the woman behind the reported sexual harassment complaint against GOP Presidential hopeful Herman Cain is allowed to speak publicly, it'll be the end of Cain's run for the White House.
Interviewed today on KTOK's Mullins in the Morning, Wilson, of Wilson-Perkins-Allen Opinion Research headquartered in Washington, D.C. explained he was a witness to the incident. "I was the pollster at the National Restaurant Association when Herman Cain was head of it and I was around a couple of times when this happened and anyone who was involved with the NRA at the time, knew that this was gonna come up."

As much as I don't think Mr. Cain has the experience we need right now (now is NOT the time for someone to assume the presidency that needs on-the-job-training) - I would still vote for him if he becomes the nominee.
I would put the future of my country over any hyper-emotional feelings I might have about the candidate that I currently support, Gov. Rick Perry. I think he is the most qualified - but rest assured - I would vote for Cain in a heartbeat.
You don't care what Cain does, as long as it does not involve children??? That is some scary emotional investment in a candidate - a mere human being. That's psycho stuff right there.
Posted by Chris Wilson on Tuesday, September 27th, 2011 at 10:31 AMRecent post debate polling shows Texas Governor Rick Perry maintaining his lead in the race to capture the Republican nomination for president. Despite attacks by opponents and Washington insiders, Governor Perry has not seen a significant drop in his numbers.
Perry continues to lead the field with 28% of the vote while his closest competitor, Mitt Romney, trails by seven points with 21%.
Since experiencing a dramatic assent in the polls following his entrance into the race, Governor Perry has shown himself to be a durable frontrunner capable of weathering attacks from opponents and enduring the harsh spotlight of the presidential campaign media. While some in the media have been critical of Perrys debate performances and predicted an impact on his lead, it appears GOP primary voters do not agree.
RockinRight--you suggested Perry's camp as the source of the Cain smear campaign Monday. Good catch--and I didn't forget!
Don’t go smearing the great state of Oklahoma with the fact that there are few nut jobs there. If you want to smear a state - target Kalifornia. We have more nut-jobs per square inch than anyone!
Whatever!
do you know if someone was to offer her more than the $35,000 that NRA had given could she just take that and speak.
This is how we got Obama. This same sentiment was embraced by the Left. They didn't care to vet Obama, nor care to look into what was uncovered by the Right about him. He wasn't Bush, he was Black, they were going to vote for him no matter what.
We are better than that. Cain isn't a deity, I'm not sure he is even qualified in some ways to be president. I hope this stuff all works out because I like Cain as a man. Not sure who I will vote for at this point.
And...if he witnessed something that would have helped the woman's claim, especially ...a couple of times... then why didn't he say so then? Obviously he was not a witness to anything, or he would have been called to support her "claim" and she would have had a real case. Not some trumped up one that ended with an out of court agreement for only one year's salary.
If Rove and his cronies are behind this I would not be surprised. This Wilson guy is probably trying to climb his own ladder and has been well paid or promised something for making these vague statements about a non issue about Cain. As Rush always says...follow the money.
So the Roving Romneyites are coming out of the woodwork.
What this shows is just how scared absolutely s**tless Rove and Romney are of Cain. We knew they feared him getting traction, but how much they fear him is only just becoming apparent.
Go raise some Cain, Cain.
Regardless if Cain is our nominee we cannot let this happen to him. Come on!!!!! This is wrong
I could stomach goats. But household pets is where I draw the line.
There are three candidates I could support. NOT Romney. NOT Bachman. Not Santorum. NOT Paul. Not Huntsman.
I am not married to any of the three, although I have my favorite. I will vote my conscience in the primary and the GOP candidate in the election. (I wish I could give credit to the Freeper who posted that bit of wisdom).
PS..just noticed when I did a spell check that 'Freeper' is not in our dictionary. Not important, just a mindless fact. I have many of those.
is he involved in the original case????? Or is this more he said, she said? Can he be sued for defamATION? tHE JERKS NEED TO EITHER PUT OUT MORE THAN INNUENDO..OR STFU.
wHAT WOULD BE A STATUTE of limitations on something like this? Or is it irreelevant because the case was already settled. Honest to God, I am sick of politico’s.
Chortle.
LOL! You nailed it.
Yeah, but Rove is working for Romney.
Kindly do not lump President Bush in with your suspects.
He’s a fine man and would never do anything like that.
As for Rove and Romney, I don’t know. Maybe.
Better this come out now, before any primary voting begins, than during the general election. If Cain is innocent of the allegations, it’s important that it be fully fleshed-out ASAP. Let’s see the evidence, then move on one way or another!
At the end of this hit piece on Cain, you will find the name
Christopher Wilson, listed as one who was responsible for editing the article. Could it be the same Chris Wilson?
Yep.
