Could this be the start of something big? Scarborough says Republican leaders now coming to him and saying they’d “rather lose” than elect Romney. Ping to Today show list.
If Romney somehow became President, he would ignore GOP leaders and go directly across the aisle for legislation.
He also would keep certain Czars over from this regime for the spirit of reconciliation. Obamacare would continue.
His Scotus picks would be liberal moderates and the McCains and Snowes would fall all over themselves to get them through Senate.
NO way I vote MITT for anything.
NO RINOs.
Real conservative or GO FISH
Yet another reason for the Left to push for Romney.
Finally, they might just be getting the message!
There is NO WAY Romney ever becomes president. If he’s nominated, enough of us will either vote Libertarian, or vote with our butts to ensure he loses.
Romney is a sure loser in the mold of Dole and McCain. He will probably give speeches praising Obama if he gets the nomination like McCain did.
I agree..the more I hear about Romney the less I like him.....especially for what Jim Robinson here had to say.
Here in Ohio, I got a survey from the GOP. I filled it out and at the end, they asked if I felt the GOP is successful/efficient in opposition to the “O” administration/his chances of re election.... I think it was worded pretty much like that.
I said ‘the GOP is an impediment to Conservatism in America’.
If you're going to Hell in a hand-basket, does it really matter how fast you get there?
Same thing I’ve been saying.
If we elect Romney, we’ve already lost.
We lose IF we elect Romney.
There will be much pain and suffering along the way. Given a choice of demise, I'll take the "express lane".
If Romney is nominated then we should put our effort into regaining the senate.
Damn right.
If Romney is the GOP candidate...I’m voting for Obama.
I figure this will be the only way left for us to get this country back...after the civil war we’ll have once Obama is re-elected.
Let’s hope JS isn’t lying, for a change.
If Romney is nominated (and I expect he will be), I’m writing in someone else. Don’t know the name yet. ABR.
Finally I agree with so called Republican leaders on something.
No how. No way. No Romney.
History is in the making, as in the years leading up to the Civil War. If there were a Conservative Party at the national level, it would outpoll the remnants of the Republican (RINO) Party. Yes, there might be some lost elections in the short term, but very soon there would be two major parties and a clear contrast, the Democrat and Conservative parties.
