MASON, Texas (AP) — On a YouTube clip that has gone viral, brash Texas handgun instructor Crockett Keller defiantly tells Muslims and non-Christian Arabs he won’t teach them how to handle a firearm.
State officials see the ad as possible discrimination, and may revoke Keller’s instructor license.
Tens of thousands of YouTube viewers have watched the $175 ad for Keller’s business in the small community of Mason, which has won him a handful of admirers but that embarrassed locals say misrepresents their community. Muslim groups dismissed the 65-year-old as a bigot.
Among the couple of thousand residents in the Central Texas town, Keller has other reputations.
“He’s a character and likes attention,” said Diane Eames, a jeweler with a downtown shop in Mason’s quaint town square.
Keller has received plenty of attention since his radio spot on a rural country music station in Mason County, about 100 miles east of Austin, went viral on the Internet. Keller said he whipped up the script on his iPad in 10 minutes. The ad quit airing last week.

In the Obama/Bizzaro world this means a new gubmint program will be created by Executive Order to have the Brady Campaign teach and arm Muslims and Socialists.
He may be a character, but he is my kind of character.
He may have embarrassed some in his home toiwn, but you can bet yopur butt that he didn’t embarrass them all.
It’s about time so0meone jerked a knot in these Muslims.

There is nothing wrong with his ad, but if he does deny service to someone based on race or ethnicity, he is going to be in a world of trouble.
Looks to me like this is a ‘fool me twice’ moment.

While I sympathize with his right to train whomever he wishes, I don’t get the ad. He does have the right to alert the Feds to suspicious characters, and it would be much sweeter to set the Feds on these characters while taking their money.
And the pilots for 9-11??

People need to realize we are in a civil war sans the shooting part so far on many fronts. If you are in a position to refuse employment, or specialized training to an unsavory character, do not disclose the reasons why. Doing otherwise sets you up for a lawsuit, one of the left’s favorite weapons. Be vigilant, but be smart too.
They’re better suited for explosives any way.
Mason is great but stay away if your a hippy or a liberal. They seem to be trickling in from Austin.
Interestingly, my Texas gun instructor, a retired Marine sergeant and former world Marine pistol champion marksman was the same way ... and was also a staunch gun control advocate!

Let’s talk about gunplay. Guns were made to be tossed from hand-to-hand. And you can’t hurt a good one by dropping it or using it around the house, like a hammer.
