Republican presidential hopeful Herman Cain, who is dealing with a media firestorm surrounding past accusations of sexual harassment, earns the same level of support against President Obama as he did a week ago.
The latest Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey of Likely U.S. Voters shows the president picking up 43% of the vote to Cain’s 38%.
The national survey of 1,000 Likely Voters was conducted on October 30-31, 2011 by Rasmussen Reports. The margin of sampling error is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence. Field work for all Rasmussen Reports surveys is conducted by Pulse Opinion Research, LLC.

A potato would have done a better job as President!
Obama is on track to receive the same percentage of the vote Bill Clinton received in 1992. I think he may get slightly more or slightly less but I am confidence we won’t see his support rise much by Election Day next year.
Those are all his brain dead Democratic voters. The swing voters haven’t gotten behind the eventual Republican nominee yet, who I predict will win.
As long as Obama’s numbers are in the 40s and not over 50%, it doesn’t matter what his opponent’s number is. The undecideds (19% in this case) always break for the challenger. So if the election were held today, Cain would win 57%-43%.
Always remember that little factoid. Notice when Obama is put up against someone in a poll he rarely gets 50%.

When Cain delivers his acceptance speech — Obama’s reputation as a brilliant orator will be flushed away forever.
I doubt Rasmussens numbers. If they were true the liberals wouldn’t be so scared of Cain.

That presumes that 100% of registered voters vote and that often is not the case.
Given the economy, the only question left is by what margin the One will be retired.
The American people appear set to fire him. He needs an economic miracle to have a chance and his own policies subverted it.
When Clinton won they celebrated with "Don't Stop" by Fleetwood Mac. This time we will celebrate and also play a song by Fleetwood Mac, but the title will be "Landslide".

Stupid people are ruining America. Question is can we out vote them or win beyond their cheating. If Cain is the nominee I think his poll #’s rise even higher since still early in the game.
As long as Romney is not the nominee this won't be an issue.

If you don’t want that to happen, you better make sure no liberal idiot like Romney gets the nomination. Mutt Romney will cost the GOP more votes than a 3rd party candidate ever would.
We’re going to end up supporting the GOP nominee. The important thing is to get rid of Obama. What he did in four years will take us many years to fix. We can only imagine the kind of damage he would do should he be re-elected.
America can’t afford four more years of Obama!
I believe it and am encouraged by it. Keep in mind that very few know as much about Cain as we do; in the general voting population maybe half are familiar enough w/him to have an opinion. At this stage of the cycle the only thing that matters is how bad Obama is doing.
I think I trust Ras polls more than any other.
