Embattled presidential candidate Herman Cain decided to try to sing away his blues during an appearance at the National Press Club today.
The former pizza magnate burst into an a capella rendition of a gospel song as questions about alleged decade-old claims of sexual harassment swirled.
Saying he wanted to share his faith with the assembled reporters, Cain used his rich baritone voice to nail a verse from the Dottie Rambo number He Looked Beyond My Fault and Saw My Need.

People like Cain because he’s not canned and slick. Folks are looking for authenticity and the common touch, which Obama lacks and Cain has. Cain is far from done. Don’t listen to know-it-alls. They are usually proven wrong. ;)
You're so right.
I’m not sure what God’s will is, but I do pray daily that His will be done.
That’s the trick isn’t it? Figuring out what His will is.
Oh, brother. You are being set up for a fall, my friend.
Moses was just a man. David was just a boy. The Old Testament is filled with examples of God using ordinary, flawed people to do great things in His name.
Cain had a huge fundraising day yesterday. Folks are supporting him in droves.
check this link out ... all of you that are for Newt. He is an true internationalist. Not conservative. He poses as a conservative yet when he votes he votes liberal.
This article is #2 of his history in government and at the end there is another link to part one which is regarding his college days. Both have been posted here on Free Republic recently.

Newt has ZERO chance of getting the nomination, even less of getting elected POTUS. You have to be truly naive about politics, or just plain dumb, to think otherwise. Yes he’s smart and a good debater, but he has more baggage than a luggage store.
I am not talking about any tea party gathering. I want to make that clear. I am talking about the Republican party.. That’s what I said in the post. I apologize for the misunderstanding. I have been working within the Republican part very hard trying to move it to the right. That is what the tea party said we needed to do and I took it to heart. For the last two years I have been working very hard on a daily basis here in Arizona to do that and we have. Our County party s solidly conservative. I am the first vice Chairman. The Chairman is State Senator Ron Goukd, perhaps one of the most Conservative legislators in the Country. Our State party is conservative and in my county every elected official is a Republican.
Several months ago our three man, Republican Board of Supervisors voted to raise taxes. Now I am running against one of them and other conservatives have stepped up.
I am actually doing what people here only snipe about. So excuse me if I get a bit miffed when I am called a rino or other such nonsense. It’s easy to attack other Republicans while sitting o. Your butt not doing anything.
bttt
Excuse the typos. Still have not mastered the iPad keyboard!
I have attended many, many Republican events (some with those running for President in attendance) and I am very active in GOP/Conservative causes. I tend to keep it quiet cause nobody respects or likes braggadocio, but I can tell you, I have never felt any religious pressure, ever.
While not directly saying so the link posted above was to a site that gives all the reasons/history why Newt is a bad choice. Continually there are those that say they like Newt as this thread reveals. I do not, and hopefully he will not pull it off. Many talk about how smart he is. TRUE!
Too bad he is one of the liberals at heart. A waste of intelligence. He is also a excellent communicator. He is a covert liberal running under the guise of being conservative.
People have been fooled before ...
I never called you a RINO or anything. You posted to *me* saying I was making Cain out to be some kind of messiah or something.
I’m glad you’re actively trying to move the GOP to the right. Good luck with your run for BoS and thank you for your efforts.
Thank you. I will keep you posted,
LOL... calling me idiot without checking my reply to the previous person who responded to my original post tells me a lot about you... :-)
