WASHINGTON, D.C., October 31, 2011 (LifeSiteNews.com) - The Planned Parenthood Federation of America shot back this weekend after GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain restated his antagonism towards the organization, which he said supports the “planned genocide” of African-American children in the womb.
Cain, who is black, reiterated that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a well-known racist eugenicist, and began Planned Parenthood to stem the reproduction of inferior races. Cain said that based upon their current business plan, Planned Parenthood appears to have remained faithful to its founding principles.
“Seventy-five percent of those facilities were built in the black community,” Cain told CBS’ Face the Nation on Sunday. “In [Planned Parenthood founder] Margaret Sanger’s own words, she didn’t use the word ‘genocide,’ but she did talk about preventing the increasing number of poor blacks in this country by preventing black babies from being born.”
Presidential candidate Herman Cain.
Planned Parenthood derided Cain’s statements as “inflammatory” and said the candidate was “clearly out of the mainstream” for attacking the group.
“It is simply unacceptable for those who oppose legal abortion to use inflammatory and divisive language based on race to push an ideological agenda,” Veronica Byrd, director of African American media for the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, said in a statement following the remarks. “Herman Cain is wrong on the facts and clearly out of the mainstream in his attack on Planned Parenthood.”
Statistical evidence from the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) shows that minorities, especially blacks, carry an enormous share of the total number of US abortions. According to CDC data (2006), blacks accounted for 36.4 percent of all U.S. abortions, even though the 2000 US census data put them at only 12.3 percent of the population. White women, however, accounted for only 36.1 percent of all U.S. abortions despite accounting for 69 percent of the total female population (2000) in the U.S.
This is not the first time that Cain has referred to Planned Parenthood as “Planned Genocide.” He made similar remarks to CNSNews.com in March of this year.
Heres why I support de-funding Planned Parenthood, because you probably dont hear a lot of people talking about this, Cain told a CNSNews.com reporter at the time, when Margaret Sanger - check my history - started Planned Parenthood, the objective was to put these centers in primarily black communities so they could help kill black babies before they came into the world.
During Sunday’s CBS interview, Cain also took the opportunity to re-emphasize his position against abortion in all circumstances, including rape and incest, saying his recent controversial statements about abortion were “taken totally out of context.”
Addressing the controversy, interviewer Bob Schieffer suggested that Cain has issued conflicting statements, saying he is against abortion completely, but that when it comes to cases of rape or incest, it is up to the family to decide whether to keep the baby.
Cain responded, “I am pro-life from conception, period. And if people look at many speeches that I have given over the years, that has and will still be my position.”
After being pressed about any possible “exceptions,” Cain clarified, “Pro-life from conception period.”
Schieffer pressed the point even further, saying, “So in other words you would not even believe in abortion if rape, incest, or the health of the mother was involved?”
“Correct. Thats my position,” Cain said.

WOW! And someone on another thread complained about Cain “walking back” his statements. The more I hear from him, the more I like him as a candidate, and a person.
It’s what Alveda King has been saying for years, but now it will be too hard for pro-choice media to ignore. This is not the safe path for Cain the candidate, but it looks like the right path for Cain the human being.
I’m impressed he said what needs to be said: “exceptions” to zero abortions are ALL straw men, as no child has any say in the manner of his or her conception.
PC was designed to silence people from speaking out against the left wing interest groups (no right wing group is protected by PC.).
Because Cain is rejecting PC, which is nothing but forced speech and thought control, he's hitting them where it hurts. If everyone would speak up the same way, all the mental control work the left has done for decades will disappear. People will once again use their first amendment freely without fear of the control freaks retribution.
This country needs a president who's not afraid to tell the truth. No more PC. It's time it went away for good. This was once a free country, and it can be free again.
After being pressed about any possible exceptions, Cain clarified, Pro-life from conception period.
Awesome. Which of the other R’s running for POTUS have been sold bold to say it, and then stand by it?

Cain is pro-life. Getting more and more clear why the MSM, Dems and RINOs/GOP elitist insiders hate him. With enemies like those, Cain is looking better and better.
“Cain, who is black, reiterated that the founder of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger, was a well-known racist eugenicist, and began Planned Parenthood to stem the reproduction of inferior races. Cain said that based upon their current business plan, Planned Parenthood appears to have remained faithful to its founding principles.”
Compare this to Obozo who said he didn’t want his daughters “punished by a baby”.
Truth has a way of doing that. The stated statistic that most Planned "parenthood" facilities are in black areas would substantiate the charges. Why build abortion mills in only certain areas, unless you are targeting for extermination those areas. Like most wolves, Planned Parenthood wears sheep's clothing, because the last thing they plan is Parenthood. They plan death to children and everyone knows it.
Like most evil things, they label themselves just the opposite of what they really are. Like Gay, more like angry. Like Government, they don't govern, they regulate. Like the Internal Revenue Service, They generate no revenue, they take it. Like the Federal Reserve, they were created when we abandoned reserves, or Banks, like they actually bank the money?
Planned Parenthood is about sacrificing babies on the altar of selfishness for monetary gain.
It's likely that you might have black democrats cross lines to vote for Cain. My guess, is that democrats crossing lines to vote with the goal of disrupting the Republicans won't vote for Romney, for the very reason that they probably believe their own MSM press hype that Romney has a chance.
Santorum is unequivocal in his opposition to abortion in ALL cases, even rape. Not sure about Bachmann.
Perry believes it should be legal for rape and incest.
Romney has no core positions.
He’s telling the truth and it is a grand thing.
I agree. Lighting a cigarette at the end of a commercial is yet another way of identifying with voters who have been 'demonized' by society. The best thing Herman Cain can do on his campaign, is to continue to be himself, acting naturally. Unlike Obama and many of the Republican candidates, he does not march in step to orders from on high.
Excellent point!
I think we have our Ronald Reagan.
At least I hope so.
