Herman Cain has been taking heat for his response to questions about Politico's story on alleged sexual harassment. But today on Morning Joe, it was Politico's own Jonathan Martin, lead author of the story, who was being evasive about the details of the allegations against Cain.
Incredibly, when Willie Geist asked him to describe specifically what Politico is accusing Cain of having done, Martin hemmed, hawed then ultimately said "we're just not going to get into the details of exactly what happened with these women," beyond the sketchy generalities in the Politico story.

No matter what Cain says. The damage - which was expected, is done. No matter what, he says now, I believe that Cain is toast. I would not be surprised if this hit came from Republican operatives.
Whenever Team Romney had rumors they wanted to start about other candidates, Jonathan Martin has been their go-to guy to get those rumors in writing in front of a national audience. ... FReeper Diogenesis is spot on.
Irrelevant as to whether he is a natural born citizen.
Now, the bandwagon is filled with eager presstitutes who demand replies to charges made by unknown complainants alleging unknown acts.

Donald Trump made the same sort of points on Fox & Friends this morning at 7:30 AM. The was GOOD on the subject and said how he thought Cain should handle this accusation.
We need to make these Democrats start living by their own rules. We can do that if we start raising a stink when they take cheap shots like this at Herman Cain.
The Democrats are adept at using the "Race Card" for their benefit. This is one time it should be used to burn them instead of benefiting them.

What damage? Just a vague accusation. No accuser stepping forward. No details about what was done.
Sexual harassment these days? “Nice dress.”
This is playing into racist scare tactics and I agree with you it was likely a fellow Republican that generated the non story.
Anyone can accuse anyone of doing anything. Buddy of mine had some ugly woman at work in the company copy room which is a small space. He briefly brushed against her grabbing a copy. She filed a complaint.
People set themselves up legally. Tougher to fire someone if they files a complaint. Then they have a retaliatory discharge suit.
The whole thing is fishy. Cain needs to come up with a more forthright statement than 'the liberal media is out to lynch me' line. If the allegations are false then say so unequivocally. Force Politico to put up or shut up.
If they can get hit hard on this one Politico can be taken out for this election cycle.
He would not deny any settlement payments were ever made.

Jus Sanguinis only applies when a baby is born to U.S. citizens in a foreign country. Then they are considered to be natural born. Such was the case with John McCain. Also would have applied to George Romney who was born in Mexico to U.S. citizens. Irrelevant when born on American soil.
Yp..When Cain’s the nominee, I wonder how much access Politico will ahve to the campaign?
And isn't a freeking coincidence that this garbage comes out when he goes to Washington DC!

The media will ensure that Cain is not a threat to their rino candidate - Romney.
The majority of the public are concerned with Dancing with the stars and sports.
When it comes time to vote all that the sheeple will remember and know is - “Oh yeah, that Cain guy was involved in some sort of sex scandal.”
You can say that it is a double standard all that you want, and man do I agree, but that has been the Democrat play book for years.
And the GOP did a debate hosted by MSNBC and Politico..when will we ever learn?
The MSM doesn’t need details, they just need headlines to repeat until election day as they report the scandal-plagued Republican against scandal-free Obama.

I’m kind of shooting from the hip here, bear with me. But the allegations I heard was that, as I paraphrase....”Cain didn’t use profane or obscene language but what he verbalized made the woman feel uncomfortable.”....as I read somewhere, supposedly he asked a female to join him in his suite.
Second, “Cain did not give an offensive gesture but how he was using his hands made the woman uncomfortable”....again....very vague. Somewhere I read he supposedly pointed to her boobs or some such.
Lookit, this has all the earmarks of a totally bogus story. The big proof would come with some kind of definitive verification of a payoff to these women and this info, if it exists and it is so cool that the details can’t be revealed so it seems, can’t be revealed as it was part of the settlement.
The media’s going to have to come up with better than this, shame on them.
