Simple Capitalism Escapes OWSIn that OWS is representative of the 99% of the country. If people understood capitalism, how it works and the wonders of it, there would be no corrupt government and there would be no unemployment, no need of welfare and no need for any government handouts.

Why doesn’t the city government make them comply with the requirements that apply to other street carnivals,, parades, etc.?
In most cities you can’t have any kind of a gathering without applying for permits, showing proof of insurance, bringing in porta-pottis, paid security, deposits for street clean up.....

I feel bad for them. I think I will start knitting them an Afghan. But since I will have to learn how to make yarn and then learn how to knit, it might take a while. I wouldn’t think of supporting one of those textile sweat shops. Nope, not me.
