Terrified Liberals Accuse Herman Cain of "Inappropriate Behavior" With "Two Women" (Lubbock Online)

Terrified Democrats moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain on Sunday. Politico reported “two women” in the 1990s “accused Herman Cain of inappropriate behavior.” The accusations are thus far vague, non-sourced, unsubstantiated, and reminiscent of the viscous Democratic attacks on Clarence Thomas.

Herman Cain came out on top in the Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night. The Hill reported,

Businessman Herman Cain and former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney are the front-runners for the Republican presidential nomination in Iowa, according to a Des Moines Register poll released Saturday night.

Cain, who has shot to the top of national polls as well, earned 23 percent support of likely caucusgoers, and Romney has 22 percent support, the Register poll found.

With little more than two months before Iowa holds the first vote of the presidential contest, the rest of the GOP field trails by at least 10 percentage-points in the state.

Herman Cain has not been campaigning in Iowa since June and has far less campaign cash than Romney. The Des Moines Register poll verifies the fact that Herman Cain is viewed as an honest man of solid character and is greatly admired by Conservatives and Moderates. Such men in the minds of the Left are dangerous. As Herman Cain is a Black man descended from slave ancestors, Cain is now stunning the already terrified Progressive Left.

Herman Cain is a strong Conservative Black man. Like Clarence Thomas and Allen West, Cain is feared and hated by the Progressive Left Democrats who still think Blacks have no right to be rich, successful, or Republican. The Civil Rights laws that were intended to protect Blacks from Democrats have no effect in restraining the raging passions of the fearful Progressive Left.

Politico reported that two women had been apparently fired from their jobs at the National Restaurant Association in the 1990s. There were apparent complaints from these women of some “inappropriate behavior” at that time on the part of Herman Cain. The behavior by Cain was apparently “not overtly sexual” but made the women “uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” These allegations could result from just about anything from seeing Herman Cain picking his nose to thinking Cain was passing gas in an elevator.

Newsmax.com reported late Sunday evening, “Politico, citing anonymous sources, reported that:” ■The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable. ■Incidents included conversations allegedly filled with innuendo or personal questions of a sexually suggestive nature and “physical gestures that were not overtly sexual but that made women who experienced or witnessed them uncomfortable and that they regarded as improper in a professional relationship.” ■The two women signed agreements with the restaurant group that gave them financial payouts to leave the association. Both women received separation packages that were in the five-figure range. ■Cain, who has been married for 43 years, told at least one campaign staffer this year about the possibility that claims of sexual harassment could surface. He described it as a case in which he fired an employee in 1990s and the woman alleged sexual misconduct or harassment. ■Cain said he was “vaguely familiar” with the charges, according to his spokesman J.D. Gordon. But his campaign repeatedly declined to respond directly to Politico about whether he ever faced allegations of sexual harassment at the restaurant association. ■The chair, vice chair and immediate past chairman of the National Restaurant Association board of directors at the time of Cain’s employment there each told Politico they hadn’t heard of any complaints.

The Left has moved into full attack mode against Herman Cain. The Left can handle a White Moderate male like Mitt Romney. The Left cannot handle a Conservative Black male, descended from slave ancestors, who dared to rise from humble beginnings to achieve the American Dream.

It is absolutely terrifying to Progressive Left Democrats that a Black man would not only dare to be Conservative and successful but would have the audacity to run for the office of President of the United States of America.

Well, if this story is true then it proves that MSNBC's Karen Finney was wrong about Herman Cain "knowing his place".

Obviously if he's a sexual predator he would know his place is in The DemocRAT Party.

Disgusting.

But not entirely unexpected.

So typical of Politico, the Democrat fronting non-news web site. I was wondering just when someone on the Demoncrat side, Politico in this case would trot out their age old favorite tactic and accuse the Republican front runner of sexual misconduct. They are just so predictable.

For now I choose to not believe these trumped up false allegations. If they can come forth with some solid evidence like a video tape of it then I'll just assume that the alleged sources for this fiction are indeed lying players for the disgusting Demoncrats.

and Karl Rove's Iron Triangle.

Thanks Fred, between this and the correct comments that the democrats would wait for a more devastating moment to release this, I'm thinking Perry or Romney. Mitt is more of a complete scumbag in my book...

I'll never vote for either.

Geraldo is not a court of law. The Cain spokesperson was under no obligation to have to respond at all to the SOB Jerry Rivers.

I've been following Cain's progress against Ghandi's maxim for a few weeks.

First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win. - Ghandi

It's only taken a week since we heard the derision from Hillary, etc. Now we're up to step thee!

The women complained of sexually suggestive behavior by Cain that made them angry and uncomfortable. I'm female, and I don't take actual sexual harassment lightly. However, I am very aware that some people live to take offense, and can be insulted by "Good Morning!" if one is not careful. I am also very aware that some people also are actively looking for an opportunity to cause a problem or to get a payoff.

In fact, I've actually witnessed it. I won't go into the details here, in case the situation could be recognized, but I have seen women take perfectly innocent statements and questions and actions and twist them around. I know that is what happened because I was there seeing the whole thing and was personally called on, on behalf of the male who was being accused.

It was happening regularly, in a situation which was part of my job duties. I ended it by letting it be known that further accusations were going to be considered, by me, as a defamation of my character (the implication was that I stood by and let a man do and say totally inappropriate things). The folks helping the women making accusations (a union, I was management) understood very well that I meant I was about to lawyer up, and the accusations stopped right there.

It takes more than innuendo to convince me.

Exactly :)

The enemy attacks what they believe are legit threats, evidence Palin.

R0mney, who couldn’t even come remotely close to defeating JOHN MCCAIN, has as much chance of elected president as I do.
