This is hilarious. OWS protesters in New York are now thinking about using bike-powered generators to power their lights, cooking equipment, etc.
I wonder if any of the power-generating bikes can support Michael Moore's weight.
But the protesters are coming up with a new solution a stationary bike and generator connected to a battery. Weve got five bike-powered generator systems that are coming from Boston and weve got five more plus other ones that are going to supplement as well so were completely, completely off the grid, said demonstrator Lauren Minis.

They will not generate enough power to cook a pot of beans. This has gone from ugly to worse. And this is how they want us all to live under their regime.

Hey folks, we have 5 bike power generators coming tomorrow from Boston (donated!), we need people to help with the process of unloading them on to the site and then we will be meeting on figuring out what to do about weatherization, maintenance, distribution, education and safety (the more minds to help jam out a concrete plan for this, the

About Me
I am a graduate from Ithaca College with a Bachelor’s in Music (trombone) and a minor in Environmental Studies. I love to travel, hike, write poetry, indulge in nature, learn, look at glass art, read, think, talk, love, make music.
I am passionate about music but also about environmental issues and social justice. I envision a future where there are many sustainable communties, and youth and other people feel empowered to make and create change. I also feel strongly about the arts and their importance in education and the community. All children deserve a quality education.
I have become more focused on health, and besides being vegan, have put more time into my body and my health. I have been trying to meditate and do yoga and pilates as often as I can.

What a bunch of morons. How long does it take to charge an iPhone with a bicycle - half a day?
You just can't make this stuff up.
They probably don’t know what’s watt.
Stamp the hands of those who pedal. No food unless you produce power. Ought to thin the herd, then they’ll need less power.
Besides, pedaling will warm them up the old-fashioned way.
