Perry really hit Herman Cain hard over his “sales tax and VAT tax”. Not sure Herman can recover.

Some one should ask “Gov” Perry(goodhair) WHY even though there is NO Income Tax in Texas WHY Property Taxes are through the roof.

A Rick Perry One-on-one exclusive today, Sunday, October 30, 2011 on FOX News Network.

I'm still undecided however Perry looked good today and Wallace didn't have a chance to slam him like he tries to do with all his conservative guests.

It's because he runs a red state and doesn't "ream" one with property taxes AND income tax to boot like Minnesota does.

You say TX property taxes are through the roof, base on what?

How much are yearly property taxes, per 100k home value, in TX?

Wallace and others need to learn what a VAT tax is? It’s not what Cain’s program of a general sales tax is.

Wallace also pointed out that Perry’s promise to grow 2.5 million jobs in his first year would increase unemployment.

I’m not sure Perry can recover from Perry. Perry doesn’t even care that his tax plan be revenue neutral.

Surely you forgot the sarcasm off tag, because if you are serious, your perception of reality is highly suspect.

I watched that interview and anita's boi toy had all he could handle to stave off that fag wallace and his prissy questions.

Perry would come in second in a one man race and obummer would carve him into fish bait.

One of those Texan financial geniuses are going to have to explain the difference between a sales tax and a vat to la raza ricardo, because he sure as hell is clueless.

Whether perry has $15 or $50 million, his message stinks and he was tongue tied when chrissy girl axed him about his begging for federal dollars in '08 for a nuke plant, and all he could say was "I changed my mind". oooooppppppsssss

Perry is probably a good governor for Texas, he should stick to it, because he demonstrates peter's principle to a Texas T.

Wallace also pointed out that Perry’s promise to grow 2.5 million jobs in his first year would increase unemployment.

And he answered accordingly...

One needs to watch the interview apparently and get first hand impressions.

Thank you for posting. I look forward to this and the rest of his campaign. He is head and shoulders above all candidates and all he can do is demonstrate that. Whether or not someone likes him personally is up to them. Whether or not someone wants to exaggerate or just lie about his record, that’s up to them. We’re still a free country. Hopefully Governor Perry can get his message across to those who are still thoughtful without Michele Bachman’s constant ankle-biting. I once appreciated her passion and knowledge. I never recognized that she is inconsiderate. The first time I became aware of her, she was on Sean Hannity’s show and running for re-election. She was begging for money to beat the mean guys who would destroy her. Everyone was against her , she said. She would just have to fight harder for the American people, she said. And now this....she’s blaming Governor Perry for her inability to move ahead in her aspirations. I hope we get to hear all of the candidate’s ideas.

I would LOVE to see a breakdown of ALL Taxes and Fees that Texas Charges it’s people and companies. I beet that it would equal most other more conservative states. I wonder how many Taxes and Fees in Texas are “hidden”?

I checked and TX property taxes were a bit over $600 per 100k of home value. That is damn cheap, in fact it is half what I pay in MI.
