“We don’t know what’s going to happen, but we do know something bad is going to happen,”

This has to be the most idiotic quote of the century.

Yep - this must be obvious - especially with the early-season snowstorm blanketing the NE...

Another group of high energy physicists ~ pronouncing doom and gloom, gloom and doom ~ and talking about models.

Odds are good NONE of them have read the Widom/Larson paper about the solar corona ~ which presents everybody in the AGW community with the problem of recognizing that the Sun has TWO, not just ONE source of energy.

To wit: A Low Energy Nuclear Reaction in the Corona ~ about which we know little or nothing, and a High Energy Nuclear Reaction in the Core. The official climatological models DO NOT CONSIDER the LENR energy source and barely recognize variation in the HENR variations ~ to say nothing of cloud cover caused by cosmic rays, and clumping of rare gases.

It's interesting that LENR research has among its enemies the AGW (anthropogenic Global Warming) crowd, Hindu Fundamentalists who worship the Sun god or his mother, or both, the Mob, Solar power, windpower, wave power, and probably even the guys who want to use vibrations to power nanobot computers imbedded in your body.

I feel surrounded by high tech Luddites!

Just to be on the safe side the facts on the ground tell us that it's the status of the North American Ice Sheet that's most important ~ and there's nothing in the rest of the world that has anything at all to do with return of the Great Glaciers.

Early snowfall in NYC is meaningful. Having the warmest year on record in Abu Dhabi isn't!

They’ve got no idea of the magnitude, or the cause. It’s gonna be big, and it’s gonna happen because there are too many people.

The Mark Boslough computer model:

Sub WhatsGoingToHappen()
print "What's going to happen?"
print "Something bad."
End Function

What more proof do you need? I'm satisfied he knows what he's doing.

"...New Mexico chapter of the Fulbright Association..." Well, that just about explains it.

This completes the explanation: Besides the Fulbright Association, the forum was co-sponsored by the League of Women Voters of Central New Mexico and the UNM Chapter of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society.

The Global Warming or Climate Change lobby is a front for a group of very wealthy people who seek to corner ownership coal and other carbon-based resources, after first driving their prices to near zero. It’s all about acquiring those assets cheaply.

***Climate Change due to Global warming, may indeed be real.***

Snow in the panhandle of Texas, Kansas and Colorado.

Snow in Yankeeland.

Just like it did 25 years ago when the gloom and doomers were blaming it on that new word “El Nino”. Yawn.

Very seldom will those who crow about globull carbon dioxide borne warming being real, quantify the expected effect and rank it next to other notorious factors such as water vapor, volcanic emissions, and cloud cover (which has strong demonstrated links to sun spots, and a mechanism has even been elucidated).

In the meantime the rain forests of the earth are begging for more carbon dioxide. It’s yummies for their chlorophyll tummies.

Abu Dhabi is dry. A downtick in temperature in a place where there’s a lot of humidity in play represents a larger delta in energy than an equal uptick in a barren, parched desert.

Some places in my state are supposed to get 20” of snow by the end of this storm. Since the Civil War, I think we’ve gotten a total of 4 inches of snow in October.

Can we get a little of that ‘warming’ they’ve been talking about for years and years? Please?

I wonder if these assholes have looked out their windows recently. It had been snowing from Virginia to New England today, with near or freezing temperatures.

So cold that our pumpkins froze their stems off.
I can now go outside and collect frozen string beans, peppers and tomatoes and save them for next year.

It’s so cold for October that I have a formed a new singing group - “Five Cat Night” - you should see my dining room floor. Wall to wall cats. Even the mice are sleeping there.

I need another hot chocolate.
