Mexican economy grows 3.7 percent in 3Q

MEXICO CITY (AP) — Mexico says the country's economy expanded by 3.7 percent in the third quarter compared to the same period of 2010.

Preliminary estimates by Mexico's Treasury Department show formal-sector employment grew by 4.2 percent.

The numbers are astounding and no wonder the Mexican Government goes to the lengths it does to mainatin the steady flow of illegals here....they are huge cash cows for them.

Of course Mexico`s economy will grow at that clip, given the many billion$ in remittances flowing there from the 20-25 million illegals here.

I read somewhere the monies being sent to Mexico is such a huge part of their economy....

IIRC it is #2, behind drugs.
