Maybe this will slow the stream of illegales? As it becomes easier to find jobs in Mexico?

At the rate that Obummer is screwing the country, Americans will be sneaking into Mexico.

What is our current rate? I heard it’s around 1%, but don’t know, actually.

How will they react if they come to the realization that this is due to the increased focus on illegal immigrants by states like Arizona that are keeping workers who spend money locally home in Mexico?

I read somewhere the monies being sent to Mexico is such a huge part of their economy that the Mexican Gov. will never agree to closed borders...and in fact deliberately offer ID’s etc. so people can go to the US... and Mexico has legal teams here in the US to protect it’s people, (cash cows), should any find themselves in legal difficuties.

Last I saw they had 5.7% unemployment (Sept, down from 5.8% in Aug).

Soon we'll be crossing the border to look for jobs over there.

It was $18 billion in 2005 according to the World Bank. I believe the remittances are worth more than tourism to their economy.

Summer time. Any time GDP is below 3.0% it is considered ‘negative growth.’
