Well, I’m definitely not voting for Drew Carey.
He’s right. 999 will never be enacted. Still, at least Cain put out a big idea and it now has all the other candidates talking more seriously about tax reform.
Perhaps 9-9-9 won't go anywhere, but something with "absolutely no chance" will have to be enacted, or we will surely die from the same-old-same-old.
It certainly will go somewhere! I just bought a ticket on the Cain train, and will ride it to the end of the line. Better than the last horse I bet on, didn't get into the starting gate....
Heck, half of the reason I support Cain is that I know that 999 will never be passed!

Drew Carey is a right leaning libertarian. He’s one of the good guys. As for this little piece, he was avoiding comment on things political and threw out this one comment as an aside. The headline in no way reflects the context of his comments.
Thanks for the article, too bad so few take the time to read it before they comment, it would be nice to know what people think instead of knee jerk reactions.

Don’t care what some comedian thinks. Don’t care to click on the link. But the fact is that this “plan” is nothing more than campaign schtick. A sales tax on top of an income tax on top of a corporate tax. It’s a joke, a political nonstarter.
