The New York Times reports on a poll done by a Fordham University political science professor that reveals what some have long suspected:
Occupy Wall St. is mainly made up of (very) disgruntled Obama supporters.
Check out these numbers.

Big Government's Joel B. Pollak has learned that in an email (below) sent by Fithian to Occupy organizers and supporters on October 22, 2011, she reported that the New Bottom Linean effort to move as much money out of major banks as possible on November 5this being led by several ACORN-linked organizations: National Peoples Action, National Pico Network, and Alliance for Just and Sustainable Economy and other key state groups like ACCE in CA, NYCC in NY, or MORE in St. Louis.
ACORN was reported paying people to attend the #OWS protests in NY through the Working Families Party, an ACORN front group.
Oct. 12, 2011: People Acting in Community Together's organized faith community closed their accounts and moved millions of dollars out of Bank of America and Wells Fargo!
Oct.28, 2011 : Protesters shut down the Wells Fargo Center today as the Wall Street bank locked its doors to homeowners who are in jeopardy of losing their homes. In response, members of the Colorado Progressive Coalition and Occupy Denver rattled the doors of the building before surrounding the Wall Street bank and setting up Fargoville outside the doors where they made their demands.
Former ACORN chief executive and organizer Bertha Lewis is also involved in the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations. Her new organization, The Black Institute, is calling its protests Occupy Black America and Occupy The Hood....Her former right-hand man, Democratic National Committee executive director Patrick Gaspard, is a former SEIU 1199 official and Obama White House political director [Link]
Fithian [image] is at the center of Occupy itself, urging activists to join the New Bottom Line, whose webpage reveals a variety of ACORN-style demonstrations and direct actions across the country.
The chosen date for the financial protest, Nov. 5, is known in the British Commonwealth as Guy Fawkes Day, named to commemorate the failure of the man who had attempted to blow up Parliament and thereby assassinate King James I four hundred years ago.[Link]
Guy Fawkes has become a symbol of the Occupy demonstrations and the Anonymous hacker collectivehence the near-ubiquitous Guy Fawkes (V for Vendetta) masks at protests.
Rumors of ACORNs demise are reported vastly overstated. The ACORN network, especially its partner Project Vote, said alive and well operating across the country with the Obama administration refunding the ACORN housing group in violation of the law.[Link]
Looks like another 1968 convention is on the way...
Always, always have to keep it several degree’s away from Obama.
Even though he organized it for years...
Don't be such a tease.
Yeah. They can be dissatisfied and still do exactly what Obama wants even if they don’t know it.
It’s still the Obama Occupiers...
This is what you get when you elect a community organizer as president. The only thing he is competent to do is start revolutions - chaos, disorder, overthrow, violence, mayhem. Yep, that’s sure what we needed. It is change, as he promised. It is also destruction, anarchy, and rampant crime.
The article states, regarding the people at OWS:
Sixty percent of those surveyed said they voted for Barack Obama in 2008, and about three-quarters now disapprove of Mr. Obamas performance as president. A quarter said they were Democrats, but 39 percent said they did not identify with any political party. Eleven percent identified as Socialists, another 11 percent said they were members of the Green Party, 2 percent were Republicans and 12 percent say they identified as something else.

Color me cynical but I think they represent where Obama would like to be in a few years. If they were OK with Obama now there would be no place for those progressives to progress to. I mean they were asking such outlandish things from the start. $20 minimum wage? Deem all outstanding student loans to be gifts? (Without upsetting the system of student financing in the future?) Obama isn’t there and could not be there for years.
We’ll know if this is true, and if Obama has lost their support, if the media stops supporting them.
The OWS movement reminds me of that egghead who made the rounds a month ago assuring anyone who would listen that Obama is a shoe-in for re-election because of his famous analysis that has predicted the winner for a couple of decades.
Put aside that the presidential winners weren’t a surprise for most of those elections, he noted that one of his ‘keys’ was that there was no domestic protest movement against the president. Putting aside the Tea Party (which he ignored), OWS seems to damn that ‘key’ to his analysis.
Just a liberal shill.
The media is “progressive” and Obama is only one piece in the progressive puzzle. There would be no particular reason for the MSM not to cover the “disagreement.” After all they have to have somewhere to go in the future.
“Well know if this is true, and if Obama has lost their support, if the media stops supporting them.”
Glad you said “if”. It will never, ever be “when”.
A bunch of self loathing yuppie whites with the arrogance to say they represent the least wealthy 99% of America are not happy that Obama hasn’t gone looey enough. I’m not sure that counts as any serious kind of protest.
I’m sure it counts as serious protests. The media coverage in itself assures that.
Serious showmanship and clownage, yes. Are they out for Obama’s blood? Not really.
Partisan media shills, carrying water for their golden boy. Thanks fight_truth_decay.
I wouldn’t trust a thing these people say.
She is a KEY PLAYER in OWS!
OWS is a mess.
The crowds are half fascist and half marxist.
The Marxist potus is funding the organizers through the transitional fascist government.
The Marxists are upset that Cloward-Piven revolution can’t happen right now.
The movement can’t grow because its a Charlie Foxtrot.
