The large Republican presidential field, along with the dramatic surges and collapses of several of its candidates, may ultimately be much ado about nothing. That, at least, is the conclusion of the Republican strategists surveyed in this week's National Journal Political Insiders Poll, who almost unanimously identified Mitt Romney as the most likely candidate to win the nomination. In the five times the GOP Insiders have been asked that question in 2011, Romney has never surrendered the top spot.

Note to GOP: I will not cast a vote for Romney. That is all.
Whew, glad the insiders don’t want my vote. I’ll save a spot O’ink by not marking the presidential section.
Ditto
Nor any money except what I give to individual candidates
let’s call them
I WILL not vote for Obama or Democrap-lite, ever again.
He’s not my first pick. But, ignoring him if he gets the nomination is a vote for Obama. We have to remember that, because a win for Obama will be devastating for the nation.
maybe if 3 million of us signed a petition with our intent to NOT elect Romney they would awake up
Note to GOP: I will not cast a vote for Romney. He is a democrat and therefore, I have no use for him, his healthcare, or love affair with homosexual action committees. I wish he’d get the hell out of our party. He’s a big “D” democrat.
This could mean the end of the Republican party. It could break apart if Romney is nominated.
SSDD - Republican "leaders"
Of course he’s the most likely. Historically, Republicans nominate the next in line against a one-term Democrat. Reagan, Dole, McCain. To break the “tradition” Conservatives have to come behind a single candidate. Unfortunately, we can’t agree on the single candidate.
Same ‘ol.
Oh those Democrats......they get to nominate the candidate for both parties.
You think the presidency of a plastic pansy like Romney is going to save this country from itself?
Naw hell no, if people want liberalism give em full strength, nor democrat-lite
Amen Brother These people predict Romney as the Republican Candidate, I predict another 4 years of Obama if he doesnt’t go to jail first for Fast & Furious.
1 - Romney isn't very different from Obama.
2 - Maybe its time for a rebellion. Obama could easily start that.
3 - I won't vote for Romney, so matter what. I'm not alone in this thinking. The idiots within the GOP better start listening to their constituents.
4 - Did I mention that I won't vote for Romney, no matter what?
I never heard of most of these ‘insiders’. I can’t wait to see them rocked. This is WE THE PEOPLE’s election.

“We have to remember that, because a win for Obama will be devastating for the nation.”
When they think what happens when O gets another 4 year term to make court apointments they will change their mind. look for Kennedy and Scalia to possibly retire in the near future. Then again the people here largely supported Romney over over Mccain there years ago when it came down that choice.
“Hes not my first pick. But, ignoring him if he gets the nomination is a vote for Obama. We have to remember that, because a win for Obama will be devastating for the nation.”
That is not true. If conservatives would just take the House and the Senate, they could stymie anything Obama tries. For that matter, they could stymie anything Romney tries too, except they won’t. The key is for conservatives to take the Congress. Most of them just don’t know how.
