Let’s ask Rick what he thinks about 0bama using a Connecticut-issued Social Security Number when the Kenyan fraud NEVER lived in Connecticut!!
You don’t think 0bama was engaging in social security fraud like those La Raza thugs do, huh?
Oops.

but will birthers denouce Perry or back him? What are the factions within the birther community?
I think birthers and non-birthers alike are reading too much into Perry's words, he's just playing games with the media and with some birthers and it bit him in the butt. It's no different than when he pretended to sympathize with secession fans, got caught doing it, and pushed out a statement on the Governor's website saying he would never support secession and that it was a media conspiracy to make him look like he did.
He is not going to be a champion of the birther or non-birther cause.

I think (from what I understand, and I may be wrong) that his Indonesian citizenship came because he was adopted by Soetero. However, because his mother was an American citizen and he had, at some point, been considered a minor child of an American citizen, when he attained the age of 18 he would have had to make a specific option to retain Indonesian citizenship. I’m not sure we permitted dual citizenship with Indonesia at that time, or maybe even now.
But if he did nothing, he would then simply be an American citizen. (However, unless he was actually born here, he couldn’t legally run for president...)

What the heck? Governing-mode Perry just showed up on the campaign trail!
Oops! He's not supposed to say that stuff until AFTER he's elected! Get governing Perry back in the Governor's mansion. Bring campaign-mode Perry back out to talk tough and throw red meat:

Idiot Perry. Why even bring this up? It’s not about citizenship, it’s about Constitutional eligibility.
To: South40
...as some Republicans question whether he's done irreparable damage to his run by dabbling in the so-called "birther" controversy in recent days. It was Perry's lack of preparation for the debates and inability to communicate coherent solutions that hurt him. Why should he have to declare Obama is a US citizen without a doubt? He has no way of knowing. Backtracking makes him look weak and indecisive.
