BENGHAZI, Libya -- Libya's new leaders vowed Thursday to bring Moammar Khadafy's killers to justice in a sharp break with their previous insistence he died in a crossfire with his own loyalists.
At the same time, the UN Security Council unanimously voted to end the mandate for international military action in Libya, closing another chapter in the war against Khadafy's now-toppled regime.
"With regards to Khadafy, we do not wait for anybody to tell us," Abdel Hafiz Ghoga, vice chairman of the ruling Transitional National Council (TNC), told a news conference in Benghazi.
"We had already launched an investigation. We have issued a code of ethics in handling of prisoners of war.
"There were some violations by those who are unfortunately described as revolutionaries. I am sure that was an individual act and not an act of revolutionaries or the national army," he said.
"We had issued a statement saying that any violations of human rights will be investigated ... Whoever is responsible for that (Khadafy's killing) will be judged and given a fair trial."

That said, I wonder if this is the beginning of the successors’ inevitable civil war?

The UN has ended its mandate? But, but, can’t we at least give the terrorists who are taking charge now a few trillion dollars to support their weapons purchases?
I’m sure Obama can sign an Executive Order or something. We wouldn’t want to leave them in the lurch now, only halfway toward building the new Caliphate.

We have just witnessed an act of overt criminalty on an international scale. There was never any legitimate reason for any of this.
This was an international ‘mugging’. That is all it was.
So, if Obama has no problem murdering a guy who celebrated his win,.......what will he not do?
