Rick Perry, who made clear during his Bill O'Reilly interview last night that he finds the debate formats geared toward promoting a fight, is going to the No. 9 one after that - but is a question mark for some of the glut of face-offs after that.
Perry spokesman Mark Miner said the issue is using time wisely, and noted their campaign is not alone in that.
"I think all the campaigns are expressing frustration right now," Miner told POLITICO. "We said we would do Michigan but the primaries are around the corner and you have to use your time accordingly."
His plans are better and specific. He has the experience and he has money and organization.
I really think he was unprepared for National politics. In Texas he has always been a poor debate performer but he would always be blunt, in National politics people expect you to be a certain way and Perry was trying to do that. He needs to get away from that and be himself.
In his debate with Kay Bailey Hutchison, Kay was touting her endorsement by the Dallas Morning News and Perry could just say "Aren't you pro choice?"
I mean it's that simple and Kay just lost the race. In national politics you would get booed and seen as a jerk.
Yes, as a DEMOCRAT.
Mittcare romney is completely unacceptable and has disqualified himself from serious consideration except for the socialist-huggers amongst the populace.
Mitt is worse than obama, because if he gets elected, THE DISASTER THAT FOLLOWS WILL BE OUR FAULT...
Mittcare romney simply cannot be permitted to be the candidate.
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

I like this.
Let Romney and Cain go after each other.
Now wouldn’t that be novel?
Rick Perry excels at campaigning.
Mitt Romney can't hold a candle to Perry in that arena.
These "debates" are not campaigning.
No Mitt disciple; but the disaster that is on Obama's heels; is almost irretrievable. A few more years of unchecked, anti-Constitutional/criminal activity will seal America's fate.
Mitt will NOT go that road. Mitt's politics and ambitions pale to those of Obama. GW; say what you might; was no Hugo Chavez or a 'Fidel'. Cannot say that about Obama; nor could you ever imagine the narcissistic; anti-patriot and totalitarian ascriptions to Mitt. Obama and Mitt have visions for America that do not even come close to being on the 'same page;.
(And for the smaller print - and most recent news - we probably would not be suffering the ignorance such as 'sex education' per bestial MO's as are now being introduced into elementary schools and a host of other educational agendas being served - including, Islamic) and no matter how Islam friendly a Repub candidate may be - I think of Rick Perry - don't think the extremes will follow and though watchful eyes here; always necessary/sigh.) Mitt sees America as a friend of Israel; not an enemy. Obama stands as a dangerous hypocrit.)
Personally; think Newt is the only Candidate who truly fills America's greatest needs right now; but alas. . .In any event; I will be voting Repub and hope that no one here, imagines, that while they have the choice; they do not have the luxury of voting otherwise. (Including the pro-Dem vote cast, by NOT supporting Repub Party.)
Of course he’s awesome at campaigning. That’s why he’s leading all those polls.
Oh, wait
Gov. Perry's been working alongside Israel since 1991 when he created the Texas-Israel Exchange. He's received the Defender of Jerusalem Award, visited Israel to learn about the border security, wrote and published a letter to Eric Holder about the illegal "freedom flotillas" and spoke out against Obama's policy toward Israel. Perry has had long and strong ties to the Jewish community.
But you slam Perry and hold Romney up for praise.

And for your lie and smear on Perry about Islam:
David Stein: Debunking the Rick Perry Pro-Shraria School Curriculum Myth
Amil Imani Governor Perry's Islam Connection
No matter how I tried, I couldn't reach the conclusion that this inclusion promotes Islam or is pro-Sharia. It seems that the mere fact that Islam is included in the curriculum represents supporting it. And with regard to the concern that the education curriculum Perry promoted is pro-Arab and against Israel, the evidence is exactly the opposite. The lesson on Israel reads:
I will. You'll see he's a dynamite campaigner.
Aside: I am excited to be in the heart o'Perry country (Dallas) for the next several days. I look forward to meeting the good folks of Texas and in hearing of why they admire; respect their governor so much!
...Will also be attending the Spanish language Mass this weekend at one of Dallas’ wonderful Roman-Catholic Churches!
You will feel and be welcomed in Texas.
Political suicide. Plain and simple political suicide.
(1) The other candidates will beat up on Perry during the debates, and he won’t be there to respond.
(2) As has been pointed out, the image that people will get form this of Perry is that he is AFRAID to debate.
(3) Perry claim that he could easily beat Obama will be seriously damaged. If he’s running away from a fight with GOP cadidates, nobody will think he can fight Obama (remember, one of the main frustration points with McCain was that he refused to go after Obama in the debates).
As a friend said to me: Smart move. If your opponent is using a weapon to stab you in the back, take that weapon away.
I’ll say it again, Texas is the model for supply side economics and small government for large, diverse populations.
A little obvious you HATE hispanics. wow
Good for Perry! There are way too many debates as it is and they are all leftie run debates.
