The local media would not release the race of the teens but the “knock out game” is popular with black youth mobs in St. Louis. KSDK reported:
St. Louis police are looking for a group of 10 to 15 people who brutally beat a 51-year-old man.
It happened near the public library in the 3300 block of South Grand around 11:40 p.m. on October 21.
St. Louis Mayor Francis Slay was the first person to spot the victim. He tells NewsChannel 5 he was driving along Grand with his security officer when they saw the crowd from a distance.
Slay says when they got closer the crowd ran off, leaving the bloody and unconscious victim and a friend.
The friend said he and the victim were walking from a nearby grocery store when the man was punched in the face and knocked out cold for no reason.
Because the victim wasn’t robbed, Mayor Slay believes this was another case of the “knockout game,” a game played by teenagers where they attack unsuspecting victims with the goal of knocking that person unconscious.
It’s been an on-going problem in St. Louis and actually lead to a death earlier this year.
The mayor called the attackers “thugs” and warned they won’t be allowed to rule the streets.
In April an elderly man was attacked by a mob of black youths playing “the knock out game” while walking home from the grocery store with his wife. They killed him.
In June a group of black youths beat a gay man bloody playing “the knock out game.”
In August black teen mobs targeted St. Louis cyclists in the knock out game.
In September, a 73-year-old man was knocked unconscious just outside of Tower Grove Park.

I am curious why only the sexuality of the gay man was mentioned. Why were none of the others identified as heterosexual? Was he targeted specifically because he was gay? Is it going to be prosecuted as a “hate crime”?
This old geezer(61) has been legally packing for over 30 years, and never had to draw my gun once. That being said, I would happily “stop” anyone who tried the “knock out” game with me. In all honesty, I welcome anyone to try it.

The attackers must be from the Lancaster area of Pa. where a lot of Amish have fled to find a better life in St.Louis.
I HATE the term, “Knockout game”. It minimizes what it really is.. a brutal crime against someone. In the one case, it was murder. A game is Monopoly or checkers... it doesn’t kill someone or leave them in a coma. Sheesh....
These low life bastards count on the element of surprise, you might not even have time to draw a gun.

Those in the fascist democrat leadership have all worked their entire life to put fascist one party rule in place and they were so sure they had finally achieved their goal that they were gloating about it in 2009. Now that it's clearly slipping away from them they're more than desperate. Don't even be shocked if someone at one of the current "occupy" sites is a suicide bomber who kills police by blowing them-self up.
I’ve been reading reports about flash mobs and knock-out ‘games’ for about a year now. And in every comment section, the observation is invariably made that the time is soon coming when Holder’s people unwittingly select an armed man for their next victim, and wind up liberally ventilated for their trouble. Nothing would make me happier, but I’m beginning to wonder when the odds are going to turn on these thugs. I can’t recall a single incident where a victim actually fought back - with his fists, much less a pistol. Maybe these animals will need to take their offensive to the next level - full-strength forays into middle-class subdivisions - before they get what they deserve.
You are right, MrB. If a group of white thugs looked for a middle aged black man to beat into a coma or to death... it would be called a vicious hate crime. I guess middle aged white guys being hurt is all fun and games.
