Herman Cain is getting pretty close to being something more than the flavor of the month. PPP's newest polls find him with a double digit lead in Wisconsin, and running only a point behind Mitt Romney in Nevada. This now makes 4 weeks in a row where Cain's been on the top of our polls- in 9 surveys we've conducted over that period of time he's held the lead in 8 with this Nevada poll serving as the only exception.
In Wisconsin Cain's at 30% to 18% for Romney, 12% each for Newt Gingrich and Rick Perry, 8% for Ron Paul, 5% for Michele Bachmann, 2% for Rick Santorum, and 1% each for Jon Huntsman and Gary Johnson.
In Nevada Romney's at 29% to 28% for Cain, 15% for Gingrich, 7% for Paul, 6% for Perry, 3% for Bachmann, 2% for Santorum and Huntsman, and 0% for Johnson.

This can not be true! The ‘Lamestream’ Media and the political pundits of all stripes have declared that Herman Cain ‘boomlet’ is over!
And all without raising $1 Billion dollars to campaign. He is showing that yes, he will need some money to continue but not as much as the others are raising. He just needs to get his views out there to the people and let them decide, not the dollars.
Seriously Brutal Cain Ad on Myth and the texican

I only wish Perry had mentioned that 70% of the people using Romneycare in Mass. are illegal aliens instead of just hitting Romney on the lawn people alone, the combo would have destroyed Romney.
And then Perry could of thrown in some sanctuary city stuff to step on Romney's neck when he was down.
Nice. That is state number 14 that Cain leads or has lead.

If Cain wins Nevada Romney is finished before Super Tuesday. NH, NV, and FL are MUST wins for him. If he loses even one, his goose is cooked.
Hmm, not sure what’s the difference between this poll and the straw poll. I remember reading an article that said Cain won the straw poll in Nevada last week.
Definitely a good ad.
ppp poll is scientific, a straw poll is where one pays to vote for the candidate of their choice. It is remarkable that the straw and ppp polls are the same.
Love the ad! That’s 100x better than the one with Mark Block smoking. That was embarrassig.
Striking in that data is that Perry is not leading in Texas!
I guess Texan repubs know Perry well enough! When favorite son gets the rejection, watch out!
Well, he didn’t even finish second. That poll had Paul second, Perry third.
But it was also an internet poll, so we are waiting for better data. :)
The last poll showing Perry lead was the one in LA where he was +2, (over Cain, natch). It’s conceivable that Cain leads everywhere Perry does, but I’m not going to show that until I have some data. Until then I’m going to be pessimistic about Cain to counterbalance my bias.
I hope that is one of his commecial spots.
