Supposed to get close to 80 here today. I went for a walk at noon. The trees are beautiful this time of year. The part of Ft Knox where the Human Resources Commmand is located is near some Korean War era barracks that are surrounded with maple and oak trees. What a great place to stroll at noon. Lots of memories there now.
Nice here for now.... Wed night supposed to get snik the back up to low 70’s this weekend..... Enjoy !
As pictured in the 007 movie Goldfinger and which was the site of my first experience with Army ROTC in 1977. I attended a 6 week "Basic Camp" to bring me up to speed so that I could sign a full on contract and start my junior year at the University of Alabama as an Officer Candidate the following year. And yes some very intense memories linger. We used to go to the Officer's Club bar called The Fiddler's Green. Still there?
