The stop came as Republican presidential candidates, business titans and former Las Vegas Mayor Oscar Goodman maintain that Obama has twice disparaged Las Vegas tourism - this Western swing state's largest employer.

Nevada's unemployment remained steady at 13.4 percent last month.
"He said it more than once," said former Nevada Gov. Bob List, a national Republican committeeman. "You can't un-ring the bell. You have to live with what you say. It just shows a lack of understanding of the engine that drives the state."

My hubby, Prince, has worked as a waiter part time for extra money all through our 30+ year marriage. It has literally saved our family from living in our car in bad times, and helped us save money to improve our situation in good times. Comments like Zero’s can have a devastating effect on people’s livelihoods, but he couldn’t care less.

In my estimation, yes. They will vote for the man who promises them something over the man who will encourage them to be self determined. Odd state, Nevada. It a right to work state that is controlled largely by unions that have become powerful in the casino and hospitality industries. They take their orders from the purple shirts.
The wife and I were in Las Vegas last year. To beat the terrific heat we walked through a number of casinos. I noticed quite a few dealers standing with their hands behind their backs in front of empty tables. I wonder if those dealers and other casino employees still have jobs and who they’ll be voting for next year.
We also call him “Whore House Harry Reid”.
