Please go to the link to see a video interview of Steve Forbes' endorsement of Rick Perry for POTUS and hear a glimpse of what The Perry Plan offers and what that will mean to America.

California has been AWOL on border issues as well. So has New Mexico until the recent change in administration. Arizona, OTOH, has taken some leadership in the area without making the excuses which you just made for Perry.
BTW, it is not the duty of the taxpayers in the 46 states which do not share a border with Mexico to shed congressional seats to border states which have inflated their population with illegal aliens, nor is it our duty to subsidize all the social services which illegal aliens demand, but nobody asks us. They just take our money and our congressional representation without asking.
“Yes, I beliecve Steve Forbes also endorsed man by the name of Perot a few years back as a spoiler against Pat Buchanan”
You need to get your facts straight:
1. I know of no time in the past where Steve Forbes ever endorsed Ross Perot.
2. I know of no presidential election where Ross Perot ran against Pat Buchanan.
Perot ran in the 1992 general election, after Buchanan had already been defeated in the primary, and again in 1996 in the general, again after Buchanan had been defeated in the primary. In neither race did Mr Forbes endorse Ross Perot. Please provide sources.
Well then, that settles it for me. I’m voting PERRY! /sarc
IF you'd rather NOT be pinged FReepmail me.
IF you'd like to be added FReepmail me. Thanks.

Tax reform is needed. Perry’s flat tax proposal would be better then the fair tax. The fair tax opens the door for it morphing into a VAT, a value added tax. No thanks.
More important then tax reform, is spending reform.
And would Gerald endorse anyone who wasn’t pro-illegal?? OF COURSE NOT.
No he wouldn't Mum. That what he finds appealing about Perry.
Steve Forbes, Ross Perot, Pat Buchanan, Herman Cain, Rick Perry.
Question: Which of those five men have won an election?
Bonus Question: Which one of those men was Co-Chairman of the Steve Forbes for President Campaign in 2000?
“I support the open borders policy of the Mexican President”
-—Rick Perry.
Now, will you still stay in denial?
” They pay in-state tuition rates.”
” They “ being the kids of illegals who were brought here as children.
Not the adults.
Also “ Pay “ is the operative word.
Unlike K-12 where all taxpayers provide education
for every child-legal or not.
Then you’re talking about some serious taxpayer money.
And not just Texas , but, every state.
Parade Magazine featured Perry today.

Lol !! Post the full statement and we can discuss it.
Well, this old lady worked very hard for Pat Buchanan. But I have worked very hard for many presidential campaigns beginning with Eisenhower’s. Sometimes things get a little confused, so if i remember incorrectly, please forgive me. But someone backed Perot and Perot was a spoiler, like Freddie Dalton Thompson was a spoiler in 2007 until he dropped out three days after Duncan Hunter threw in the towel.
Wow....
We Texans don’t “subsidize” public colleges? Come again... Surely ye jest....
No. We don’t “have to”
Perry “wants to”
Get it straight.
He could take a lesson from Alabama on dealing with illegals.
Your quote is just as honest as this quote:
“I support abortion”
- Herman Cain
Great news.
Don’t even try. They are idiots and listen to nothing.
They come on this Perry thread and start trashing him.
If I started out liking Cain, and I did, I would despise him now because of his supporters.
No doubt about it! Forbes brings some real muscle when it comes to tax matters.
Some like to hi-jack threads which moves the discussion from the important facts or exciting information of a particular thread to side shows and vendettas.
Anyone who is serious about a pro-growth future for our country and a serious tax reform debate, whether it is flat tax, fair tax, or something like a hybrid 999/909 plan, should simply take a mental note of the tactics of those who turn serious conversations into circuses, be thankful we have several conservative candidates with true messages of conservatism to share, and then just keep on moving forward with peace that you are on the right side.
Thanks to all who honestly and enthusiastically contribute to the conservative reforms our party is going to make with a conservative candidate that will be Obama in 2012!
