Tax reform is needed. Perry’s flat tax proposal would be better then the fair tax. The fair tax opens the door for it morphing into a VAT, a value added tax. No thanks.
More important then tax reform, is spending reform.
I like the Fair Tax the best. I loke the Flat Tax 2nd best. But I damned sure don’t want the Fair Tax AND the Flat Tax (999 plan)!

I believe I heard the Perry Plan (tax reform, budget and spending plan, and entitlement reform proposals) will be debuted this coming Tuesday, October 25, 2011.
