Colonel Gaddafi's daughter phoned her father after learning of his capture – only for the call to be answered by a rebel who told her: 'Old Fuzzhead is dead'. The way the news was broken to Aisha Gaddafi, 34, has dismayed many officials in the ruling National Transitional Council (NTC).
The revelation came amid international demands for an investigation into how the deposed Libyan leader died. NTC sources say he was shot by a 17-year-old with the dictator's own gold-plated revolver.
'Aisha called her father's satellite phone and one of the revolutionaries who had captured him answered her,' said a commander. 'He said, "It's over. Abu Shafshufa died."' Abu Shafshufa is Gaddafi's nickname in Arabic, meaning Old Fuzzhead. 'It's shameful. It is his daughter,' added the commander.
Aisha, her mother and two of her brothers fled to Algeria after the fall of Tripoli in August.

The new leader of Libya announced that from now on sharia will be the law of the land, all non-sharia or non-islamic laws will be null and void.

Hillary found it funny. We came we saw , He died. That is outrageous. not that he was killed by a mob, that was expected. I can feel some sympathy for his daughter, IF, she felt sympathy for those her father killed or had killed, but I doubt she did.I doubt she shed a tear at the death of those Ghaddafy was responsible for killing.

It was indeed gold plated but a Browning Hi-Power, not a revolver.
Interestingly I have seen this mistake in so many British movies, especially old ones that I wonder it that is considered correct in Britain. Probably not but it really is common.

I’m glad I don’t live in a country where our military shoots prisoners and then drags the bodies around as trophies. That being said, Gaddafi reaped the harvest he spent 42 years sowing.
Well, the problem, you see, is that Ghaddafi wasn’t given the courtesy of a pro forma show trial before he was executed. Do lend a semblance of legality and civility to it all. Ceausecu and Saddam Hussein at least got that!
They sense a chance to smear the U.S. for being covert partners in assassination and savagery with the death of the Libyan head of state, whether it's true or not.
Obama asked for this with his big mouth and purse.....backing the rebels with evil oratory, military assistance and money.
Faux moral indignation will be used as a weapon against our country by those in the world who hate us (and Israel)....which is the majority in the U.N and World Court....that's for sure.
