I remember him. He came from an era when news was a bit more objective. not the blatant azz kissing of presidents that we have now.

Rest in peace.

Anyone have any suggestions for a good, quick, Kosher meal this evening? And please.....no lox and bagels. That was breakfast!

A bottle of Manischewitz and a couple matzos should get you by till tomorrow. On second thought, just stick with the wine. It'll be more fun.

Hearkens back to a time when I could watch the evening news with no danger of wanting to throw a brick at the screen or my kids learning new combinations of forbidden words.

The 70's were a bit rough but by the end even the Liberals reporting clearly considered Carter an incompetent. The 80's were tolerable because the overt anti-Reagan drumbeat was drowned out by the object's immense likability and success. Then the 90's came along with three "C's" that began making television news unwatchable ... CNN, the perky yet poisonous Ms. Couric, and the Clinton-Cult.

Since then Network News has become a visual combination of Pravda and Saturday Night Wrestling, FOX included.

W/ regard your tagline: HELLO! I’m the other conservative Jew. No, seriously, there are a lot, like at least 20 conservative Jews in America and all of them are right here on FR.

“He covered Watergate, the Pentagon Papers and the resignation of Richard Nixon, as part of a “Murder’s Row” of reporting talent out of the CBS News Washington Bureau that included Lesley Stahl, Roger Mudd, Bob Schieffer and Ed Bradley.”

Someone should ask “Kenneth” what it is like to be a nonperson courtesy of the CBS Politburo. Gunga Dan is still toxic. LMAO.

... died Saturday after complications related to hip surgery.

That often means he developed an infection in the hospital.

Or perhaps he got a blood clot from the surgery and that was the end of him.

Because as Thomas Jefferson said, “Whenever I see three doctors gathered together, I look overhead to see if the buzzards are circling.”
