This is the two faces of Alec Baldwin, an actor well known for his liberal views, who joined Occupy Wall Street with the message that 'capitalism is worthwhile'.
The 30 Rock star was mobbed at the demonstration in Manhattan with protesters clamouring for his opinion - all the while he remains the public face of one of America's biggest banks, splashed across billboards and on TV commercials.
Baldwin showed his support for the cause, now in its second month, which has already been attended by other celebrities including Susan Sarandon, Mark Ruffalo, Kanye West and Russell Brand.
At the event, Baldwin was cornered by the grassroots movement We Are Change and despite initially appearing reluctant to answer questions, he eventually gave his opinion on getting rid of the Federal Reserve.
One protester asked Baldwin: 'Where do you stand on ending the Fed?'
He replied: 'I don't know enough about what ending the Fed would ultimately mean for the capital markets in this country because you have to have capital markets in this country.
'You cannot not have strong capital markets in this country. I think most people want change in this country but they don't want the country to go down the tubes. They don't want the country to become England.'

And you NEVER have to slap HIS hand away from an overhead cockpit breaker panel 'cause he played a pilot too!
..."and while I'm here, why don't you hippies fill out this application for a Capitol One credit card...."
Their idea of capitalism is socialism.
Actually what those hippie freaks want is communism. I have a suggestion for them, how about they spend 1 year in Venezuela and see how they enjoy living under communism over there, then come back and tell us if it was all sunshine and skittles
Somebody should have informed Alec that it’s NOT “What’s in your wallet?” with this crowd. This is the “Hand over your wallet!” crowd.
Put that marijuana down.
Marijuana is for closers only.
“Their idea of capitalism is socialism”
-—It’s a bit more crushingly ironic than that....
as I always say, they think capitalism is socialism
with ‘training wheels’-—that capitalism’s destiny is
to always be on the road to socialism, and the most
recklessly disruptive thing about them and their perennial
Agendas is that they believe that only by hijacking all the fruits of capitalism, can socialism be achieved. Their strategies are always infiltration, subversion, doublespeak, and dishonesty. Socialism could never have given them ANY of the advantages they’ve enjoyed all their lives, including the freedom to say that capitalism stinks.
(Say socialism stinks in most places and you’ll be in jail in no time).
They’ve achieved so much already employing these same tactics over the last four or five decades, they went in search of a Magic Man who might be the perfect vehicle to
wrap up the whole project and get away with pushing all parts of the Socialist agenda through: they found Obama,
a curious non-entity with no history and no need for one.
His Presidency has been a total failure even in their terms, everything he’s done for three years now has to be
undone, rolled back, and corrected, and an inordinate amount of energy now has to be expended by a new President
to do just that. And THAT of course is what THEY were saying coming in 3 years ago, as a justification for the grand goal of “remaking America”. This has been the biggest and most amazing scam ever perpetrated on the dumbed-down, hopeful and gullible American electorate I’ve ever witnessed.
Good rant.
If there was a way to herd them all into one State (California perhaps) and make them submit to the communism they advocate - that would open their eyes.
Put them in gulags, force them into the fields to grow their own food, raise livestock, buiLd their shelter and separate the sexes until they are prepared to raise children in those circumstances. No food stamps, medical care or clothing. They have to DIY.
Remember the hippie communes? Know any that survived?
“Their idea of capitalism is socialism.”

The Hollywood and MSM Marxist want capitalism for themselves,
but Communism for the rest of the people.
The same can be said for many of the rich.
Glenn Beck could go down there dressed up as Baldwin and read the Constitution, and better than half of them would be too stoned to even realize what was going on.
To quote Coach Jim Schoenfeld of th Buffalo Sabres: who was a great defenseman
Have another donut you fat O_)(&!!!
Ignore anything Alec Baldwin says until he asays it from France.
