The FBI Announces Gangs Have Infiltrated Every Branch Of The Military
The FBI has released a new gang assessment announcing that there are 1.4 million gang members in the US, a 40 percent increase since 2009, and that many of these members are getting inside the military (via Stars and Stripes).
The report says the military has seen members from 53 gangs and 100 regions in the US enlist in every branch of the armed forces. Members of every major street gang, some prison gangs, and outlaw motorcycle gangs (OMGs) have been reported on both US and international military installation

Now that's just hard to believe.
To enlist, I thought one had to have graduated from high school, is that not so? Gang members are not educated.
Maybe GANG is code work for ISLAM.

Heard about this on Michael Savage’s show last night. Apparently it’s especially bad in the Navy.

This is old news. There were big stories on this back in the 1990s, I think. On one hand there were the inner city gangs that were using the military for training, on the other hand there were the white supremacist groups that were doing exactly the same thing.
I think most of the controversy over it died down with 9/11.

That’s our FBI. On the ball as usual. Gangs in the military have been a problem for a decade or more. Next thing you know, the FBI will tell us that the cartels have managed to set up shop in every major metro area from Texas to California.

There's something to be said for a broad-based military draft without the escape route of college exemptions. A small volunteer army as a professional core would be great if we didn't have all the oversea deployments and manpower strains. And to provide the manpower for heavy deployments we are either going to have to lower standards or broaden the manpower base with a draft.

Oh yeah, the rigors of getting a high school diploma, let me tell you
Hardest I've ever worked in my life but I'm glad I did because now I've got that high school diploma framed on the wall, opening up doors left right and center
Look out world, I'm a man of letters with my high school diploma

So? Can the people do their duty? Can they kill the enemy?
Gang members are extremely loyal, and will fight to the death to defend their group. They are tough, seasoned, and ready to kill. This is exactly the sort of person we want defending our country. Put a gang of Crips down into a town full of Islamic terrorists, and let’s see who emerges at the end of the night.
