I need to thank Ann Coulter for teaching me several years ago that any conservative candidate or politician will always, always be described as either stupid or evil by the media.
Having thus been inocculated, I can read such crap with general ease.

RE: "Cain better get prepared for the next debate on foreign policy or that could be his Waterloo."
Fully agree. He has made some rather irresponsible statements in the past regarding foreign policy. On the fly statements "simple", may not be noticed, but taken in slightly more detail can quickly show how someone lacks the skill sets in a given arena. And Cain has more then once admitted his weakness on this given issue.

I’ve been boycotting Time since 1971 - no particular issue just a clear bias to the lib side making the “news” more propaganda than information. ;-)

If Romney gets nominated, they are going to teach us a lot about Mormonism. Not the solid citizen side, but the weird stuff that Joseph Smith taught them.

Early life
Touré was given his name by his mother after she read an article in Time magazine about Sekou Touré, then President of Guinea. In 1989, Touré graduated from Milton Academy in Milton, Massachusetts.[citation needed]

I agree that he needs to be up to speed on foreign policy. He has said himself that he isn’t yet, and that has seemed to be his weak spot for me. If he can pull that off, he’s a very formidable candidate.

His mom named him after Ahmed Sékou Touré, President of Guinea, who actually was a Marxist for much of his life.
After Toure's death his rule was called a "bloody and ruthless dictatorship."

So is "unctuous" just another way of saying "uppity"?
I'd have to say there are plenty of unctuous people out there, Black and White, college presidents, Reverends, activists, etc.
And I'm curious about the qualification by sex/gender.
Is that to let Maya Angelou off the hook?
