Heritage has always been a shelter for RINOs who were out of power. They have presented crony capitalism as free-market over the years. Sarah Palin was right on crony capitalism and Heritage Foundation is one of the groups that feeds off crony capitalism. STOP donating to Heritage if you have ever donated to them.

bold the big scary part you missed
the mandate was tied to receiving tax credits part of the sentence.
That looks different from ObamaCare and, besides, this proposal is 20 years oldin fact it dates to a 1989 book. As it is, Heritage abandoned the idea and when Obama's DOJ attempted to use it to defend ObamaCare, Heritage filed a brief calling the DOJ liars for willfully ignoring Heritages changed policy views.
It's a think tank, it's going to have some bad ideas in its history.
