While I have my doubts about the poll, it wouldn't surprise me - lots of folks in Texas not too fond of Obama clones from Massachusetts. Plus being a Mormon ain't going to help him here given the whole FLDS thing.

If Romney got the nomination, he would have a helluva time winning Texas, since a lot of Texas know he's no better than Obama.

I assume by the "frontrunner", you mean Romney. He's from Massachusetts. Perry would not do well there so why assume Romney would do well in Texas? And Ron Paul is also from Texas, so no surprise he splits the centrist's voters with Perry.

Definitely, Romney seems slick and untrustworthy to many. He is the frontrunner in the media and has the finances to get his name out but to the educated republican, many don’t like him.
