I advised her if you want to have your freedom and be an adult and have control of your life and decisions(you will have to deal with the consequences of bad decisions), be conservative. If you want to be controlled and told to do as an adult(if you still want to be remain and still treated as a child), be a liberal.

The Bible says to train up a young child in the way he should go and when he is old, he will not depart from it. The Communist/Socialist plan is to indoctrinate children into the way the state wants them to go, and Voila! --the state has little menschen marching goose step when called up by said state.
It started the first minute the very first socialist government schools opened in the U.S.! ( mid-1800s to early 1900s) Indoctrination has **always** always** always** been the goal of compulsory, socialist-funded, government schooling.
Indoctrination of the next generation of voters has **always** been the goal of the Progressives of the 1800s who lobbied for universal, single-payer, compulsory, and socialist-funded government schooling!
